Town of Rehoboth Beach dog-friendly cottage with a private pool, washer/dryer

We loved the cottage and proximity to everything along Rehoboth Avenue.

We loved the house, the pool, and the owners (who live close by). The house was adorable and nicely decorated, and the pool was amazing. The owners were friendly, helpful, and at the same time , were not obtrusive at all. They let us have lettuce and cherry tomatoes from their garden, and were extremely understanding when our 14 yo rescue dog, who has never seen a pool as far as we know and does not seem to be interested in the bay or creek at home, jumped in while we were checking in, even though dogs are not allowed in the pool. The house was stocked with my favorite spices, making it fun to cook there. They provided us with a sheet of helpful tips on how to use the pool, navigate the internet, etc. included were suggestions for things to see and do, and recommendations for where to eat. When we left, I felt as though we had made new friends. The owners were wonderful hosts. We will definitely be back.

Cottage was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The pool is heated, and the yard is gorgeous and very well-maintained. The herbs & tomatoes are such a special touch. Dog-friendly is always a win for us. We liked the size and layout of the cottage and the comfy loveseat. The bed was not comfy for us. Our largest negative is that despite the owners being very friendly and welcoming to us during our stay, they have ceiling to floor windows in the back of their home that directly face the pool area and the cottage. We could see inside their living room while we were swimming. It was very awkward for us, despite their best efforts to stay out of the way. Hoping they invest in curtains for this reason. If you prefer staying where there is privacy with the owners, I would look elsewhere.

We loved the Coral Cottage. It was everything that was advertised. The patio and pool were great. Bob and Sheri were very welcoming hosts. We feel like we’ve made some friends and hope to return.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Coral Cottage. It was super cozy, clean, we had access to the private in ground pool, outdoor patio with awning as owners were away who lived in the main house! Lots of restaurants, shopping right nearby and a quick drive to the beach!!

The host/owner had daily contact when us. This was a Vrbo property. The reason we HAVE ALWAYS used Vrbo is just for that reason, no CONTACT with the host/owner. The owner/host made sure that had daily contact with us, He even went into my personal truck, took out my crockpot and another item. I have engaged legal counsel. This was never supposed to have happen. We left four days early due to the host/owner never allowing us any privacy. I have videos, photos, text messages with family documenting what we were subjected to at this property. This should have NEVER happed at a property rented through my Vrbo app. Like I stated, THIS IS A VRBO property. No contact with host/owner. They violated the law being on the property and interfering with our vacation daily.

We loved everything about this rental! Property is immaculate and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool and patio area. Homeowners were welcoming and helpful. All in all we had a great getaway!

The pictures did not give true honesty and appreciation for our stay. We took our four-legged friend on a summer tour and this stop deserved a standing ovation. First, the owners are the most lovely people you can ever meet. They were so welcoming to us and provided great information to make our stay exceptional. We viewed the residence like staying at a five star hotel suite. We had great space to cook and wine down every evening. The pool is exceptional and heated. We drove to the beach and enjoyed our stay. We will definitely come back to visit again.

We highly recommend staying here! Located close to downtown, with great amenities including a well stocked kitchen, full sized washer and dryer (loved going home with clean clothes) and comfy furniture. The place was sparkling clean.

What a great visit! My wife and I enjoyed staying at the cottage on Washington street. We were fortunate enough to have decent weather, walking to the beach and boardwalk, riding the trail on our bikes and shopping at the nearby outlets. The cottage is super cute, with a nicely stocked kitchen and comfy beds. We will definitely return.
