Stayed Sep 13, 2019Our stay at Marc's écolodge and tent was fantastic. We had a little trouble finding it but once there we loved it. Very peaceful, amazing views, lovely pool. We had everything we needed. Marc was very helpful. He offered to transport our bikes in his truck along the dirt track, both to and from the property. He was a very attentive host. Thank you for our stay.

Stayed Aug 22, 2019From start to finish this place is breathtaking. We’ve never ‘glamped’ before but this property embodies the definition. All the amenities of a luxury home with the most gorgeous views of ajaccio. A local experience surrounded by nature and endless hiking trails. Great for cooking your own food and enjoying local products. The plunge pools are amazing and the host is delightful. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Stayed Jul 20, 2019A super location for a peaceful and natural retreat. The views out to the bay were absolutely stunning as were the backdrop of the mountains. At night the stars were too many to count. Marc was a perfect host always on hand if needed but never intrusive. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the furniture and kitchen utensils of a high quality. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed Sep 1, 2018A great place to rest and have time to yourself. For us this stay was the most beautiful vacation for a long time. Just what we were looking for: close to nature, situated in the mountains, with a wonderful view over the Gulf of Ajaccio and the mountains of Corsica. The tasteful and suitable furnishings as well as the unique location did not let us go.

Stayed May 17, 2018The Ecolodge is situated 30 minutes up the side of a mountain, overlooking the Golfe d'Ajaccio. The views of the bay are absolutely stunning with amazing sunsets. To the side of the Ecolodge, the views are of snow capped mountains - again, stunning. The property itself is also wonderful. I would describe the property as a Villa with Canvas walls and roof! It includes a ceramic toilet and shower cubicle, with a wonderful balcony area (covered) outside and a separate kitchen including gas hob, fridge and sink. You are not overlooked and the proprietor Marc (whose house is further up the slope in the grounds) is extremely helpful. The road leading to the Ecolodge takes a little getting used to - in particular, the dirt track for the last mile - take it slowly and carefully! Corsica has to be the most attractive, scenic and interesting island we have visited and I would recommend it to anyone. This is a great base to explore the south western corner of the island.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969At first we (couples 27 and 26) were skeptical in the approach which we would expect. Gravel road, no radio and intercom. Then we arrived at the accommodation, were warmly welcomed, led around and stood on the terrace and were amazed ... We were on Corsica but felt like we were in South Africa at Safaritour, where there were no elephants protruding from the bushes. The view of the Bay of Ajaccio from the terrace, but also from the lovingly laid out pool of the Corsican Gumpen, was day and night dreamlike. Now to Rating: 1 star is for the friendly hosts 1 star for the solitary but wonderful location (you can hear nothing but the nature). Also a good starting point for hike, Mtb and trailrunning) 1 star for the wonderful view 1 star for the lovingly furnished accommodation / tent and 1 star for the overall impression. A place to dream ... Until next time Jens and Alexandra
