Toasted Marshmallow (w/fast internet) & baby goats! Farm 20 min to Hocking Hills

Place was spotless. Dogs were very nice and fun. Everything that was listed online was provided.

I got there was having troubles with my phone and could not pull up anything not even my phone was working. So couldnt pull up my info on how to get in. The owner seen i was having problems. And having words with my phone lol (we,ve all done it) he came to my rescue, got me in, And talked for short while. Good people, lovely property inside and out. Animals were great having around. I will definitely stay with them again next time a lil longer

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house was so modern and updated. We felt so welcome. The animals were so fun to interact with. The dogs and cat were very friendly. The host was very kind and efficient with communication. The place was about 20-30 minutes from restaurants and hiking and the drive was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!

The Toasted Marshmallow was the perfect place to spend part of our Mother’s Day weekend. The cabin was clean, cozy and relaxing. Couldn’t get enough of the welcoming committee. All the animals were so friendly and a joy to be around. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to just about anyone. We absolutely loved our stay!

Highly recommend! Beautiful cabin. Quiet and peaceful. Greeted by a friendly dog to check us in upon arrival, and by a cute little kitty to check us out as we were leaving. We were also visited by some cows and a horse and took a few moments to say hi to the baby goats before we left. We would have liked to stay longer but were only passing through and needed a one night stay prior to an early morning event the next day. If we have occasion to return to the general area, we will 100% book again and definitely stay a few days next time.

After arriving at the property we were very surprised by the condition it was in, especially from the outside.The outside of the property was dirty (see picture)The hot tub water was mirky / not cleanThere were a lot of bees always by the lights of the front doorThe inside was clean for the most part. We had a fantastic weekend staying at the Toasted Marshmallow! Clean, quiet, with everything you need for your stay. The animals were awesome. We loved the dogs and their visits. Host had great communication with clear, helpful directions to the cabin. Loved our stay!

Our stay at the toasted marshmallow was wonderful! The goats were so cute and the three dogs were super friendly and excellent tour guides The hot tub was an excellent addition that was fantastic to slip into at night and look at the stars from.The fireplaces inside also made it extra cozy and welcoming.We only stayed for a night this time but we definitely plan on coming back for a longer stay in the spring!

Cute place ! It was interesting with the snow getting there. But, you run into that in December sometimes. Loved the dods and the amazing sunset.

The friendliness of all the farm critters lets me know that the owners are loving and caring. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the cabin and finding a slice of serenity in some much needed peace and quiet.

Perfect base for our hocking hills weekend. The farm dogs were an added bonus. We loved Chompy...she was the sweetest pup.

Loved the remote location near the state parks. Nice long gravel drive out front, super quiet area. We loved having fhe dogs and other farm animals around. Firepit was nice, hottub worked great. Heat/AC both run very well inside. This space was the perfect size for the 2 of us and we will be back on our next trip to Hocking Hills.

We had a lovely time here! It was a great little getaway. The farm is beautiful, and it was so much fun to visit with and see all the animals! The goats and sheep are so cute and friendly- but the doggies really made our stay special!! The cabin was perfect for a couples vacation. The host was also very kind and communicative. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit the Hocking Hills area. :)

This was an adorable, tiny cabin located in a peaceful area that was perfect for a weekend getaway! The dogs, cats, and goats were a bonus as well. The only area I did not give a 5/5 was the cleanliness, but even that was a minor thing. This was because they only gave us one full bath towel, so one of us had to use a hair towel for showers, and two towels had some stains on them. Additionally, there was no toilet paper holder, so you had to unroll the toilet paper manually; plus, the water at any time had the odor of rotten eggs from the well. Not sure if the well water odor can be fixed, but it would just be helpful to know about that possibility in the description. Otherwise, it was a great place and we would come again!

The hosts are so incredibly kind and very on top of things if you have issues. The place was perfect and we would definitely stay here again! The farm dogs are the sweetest (coming from someone who doesn’t like dogs all that much) and the whole atmosphere is amazing. It was nice to get out of the suburbs for a while and retreat back into nature! Perfect distance from Hocking Hills to beat the touristy places!

We stayed here for a weekend on my boyfriend’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect! Place was clean and check in was so easy. The dogs were the highlight of our stay!! Along with the hammock and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again!

My wife and I had the most amazing experience, the owners were amazing and so kind and were willing to stop and chat with us. We r had so much privacy and got to see and love so many animals. This was a great experience, the house is so cute and so put together. 100% will be back!

We had a wonderful long weekend here. It was very clean and well appointed. Perfect for two people. The host was great at responding to any questions most times within minutes. The host was also great at respecting privacy, being out of sight out of mind. They let us know they were around and available if necessary…but otherwise not seen. And the animals…so fun and friendly. Dogs, cats and sheep…oh my!!! How fun to start the day giving crackers to the sheep! 10/10 would stay again

My wife and I have had a trying time lately with family issues and we desperately needed a small getaway. This place was perfect for that. As we are animal lovers we were greeted by the cutest cats, the most friendliest dogs and goats a plenty! Once night came it was quiet and peaceful and you could see every star in the sky. Thank you all so much! This was exactly what we needed!

This cute little cabin was the most perfect place for our Valentine’s Day weekend. I loved seeing the dogs running around and they cats were very sweet too. It was so nice and private, but for being on a working farm there should be less sheer curtains (my only complaint!) I also appreciated the free WiFi because there was spotty service. Otherwise we had an amazing time and I recommend this to others!!

This cabin was perfect for a solo getaway to recharge. The cabin was adorable, very clean and had everything I needed. The property was wonderful, especially for an animal lover. I met a darling orange cat, 3 dogs, baby sheep, mama sheep and goats. Location was great, just outside McArthur and Zalenski. Would definitely stay again!

We loved our time here. Serene and beautiful, complete with so many fur friends. Toasted Marshmallow was perfect for the two of us. We relaxed in the hot tub in the morning and had a fire in the evening. Thanks so much for the fire woods.

Got to see three dogs, two cats, and so many goats! The puppies played outside our windows for the last few hours of our stay. The cats came right up when we first arrived. Definitely the place to be if you love animals!

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The scenery was beautiful and the animals on the property were so friendly. We enjoyed having the hot tub to relax in. The only thing we would have liked is curtains on the windows that are not so sheer so windows are covered more especially at night and while in the bathroom for showers etc.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in The Toasted Marshmallow for our 6 year wedding anniversary. The host messaged me the morning I was due to attive with helpful info for check-in, and location info. They were able to accommodate us arriving an hour early as well. When we arrived, I went straight for the sheep and goats! We were also greeted by an adorable little black dog and a calico cat.They were both super friendly, and you can tell they have been trained to stay out of the cabin because they never went further than the porch. We had a lovely, relaxing weekend getaway. The cabin is on the edge of their farm, but it's so quiet. The only noise we heard came from the animals, which is always welcome.

Had an amazing stay at toasted marshmallow. It was our first time in Hocking hills. The place was clean and the show was warm. The hot tub and animals were def a highlight of our trip. Would recommend and would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the toasted marshmallow. It was so great to see the goats, sheep, pups, and kitten. We also enjoyed watching the chickens chase each other from across the yard. Getting away from the city was such a great experience. The property was clean and easy to access, and comfortable for our family. There is another rental on the property called stargazer and it looks amazing too. Thanks to our hosts for accommodating us.

Adorable, clean, tiny cabin on a farm with lots of friendly visitors: dogs, cats, chickens. Owner is super gracious and accommodating. Water filter works great for drinking.
