Stayed Jan 1, 1This is the second time we have been to Tides Reach and certainly not the last ! Wonderful property, best view in Cornwall across the harbour and in a very central position in Mousehole . Very comfortable and well equipped ..

Stayed Jan 1, 1We have been visiting Mousehole at Christmas for over 20 years and this is the best self catering accommodation we have ever stayed in. The view alone is worth paying for! The cottage itself is super comfortable, warm and very clean with all the equipment you could need. The welcome pack of milk, butter, wine, mince pies and cannoli was also amazing. We had only been there for half an hour and we booked for 2026! The staff at Luxury Coastal are also friendly, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you.

Stayed Sep 20, 2025Tides Reach is a wonderful and cosy house with an amazing view! We enjoyed our stay very much! The area is amazing and Mousehole is an impressing village! The only thing we have to complain about is the fact that the house needs some cleaning.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Absolutely beautiful flat overlooking the harbour. We had a wonderful stay and any tiny problems concerning how things worked were dealt with immediately. I would recommend this flat to anyone wanting a peaceful stay with a safe environment for children and great for adult swimming. Will certainly book again.

Stayed Jan 1, 1Positives Tides reach is very well decorated and the location is wonderful . We stay in Mousehole once a year and it was lovely to hear the sound of the sea at night . Having drinks on the terrace was the best place in the village with the view and the sounds of the ocean waves . We cooked in the kitchen quite a few nights and the TV was perfectly situated for four of us to watch comfortably . The water in the shower was constantly hot for all of us . Negatives The bed in the second bedroom was not a full . It was a little bigger than a single at best. Both mattresses in both rooms were uncomfortable . The Patio is shared and the other occupants walk past our bedroom windows to enter and exit , they also sat outside by our bedroom windows and talked which felt pretty intrusive . The house needs a deep clean . Some of the cookware was old and rusty . It was overpriced for what we had and recommend the owners upgrade to warrant the cost .

Stayed Jan 1, 1Looking at the ebb and flow of the tide and the families neither harbour, the boats bobbing, the teenagers jumping in, time passes beautifully. A real place to slow down and breathe. Also fabulous restaurants in the village. No need to leave apart from coastal walks!

Stayed Jan 1, 1This was our first visit to Tides Reach but we have been to Mousehole many times. The position of the property is fantastic, looking directly out over the pretty harbour. And 100% recommend a stay in Tides Reach for this alone. There is an outside sitting area which is perfect to enjoy your morning coffee and and glass of wine in the evening. The guests from the other properties have to walk past your front door to access their properties (I think there are 3 cottages that have shared access) but this was not a problem and we all enjoyed a chat and passing the time of day when we were sat outside. The property and furnishings are of a very high standard and we wanted for nothing during our stay. I feel Tides Reach is about to need some TLC and could have been slightly cleaner but this would not stop us booking again. The bed in the second bedroom is a 3/4 bed - not a double. We travelled alone so this did not affect our stay but I'm sure it's listed as a double bed on the website. 100% recommend this property - the views, the accommodation and the communication from Luxury Coastal was exceptional. We parked in the carpark on the harbour and parking fees have just increased to £10 per day.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We booked Tides Reach for our honeymoon and loved it. A wonderful location. We were there during Storm Bert and it was a warm and cosy place to watch the waves battering the harbour wall. Everything about the cottage was high-end and lovely. The welcome gifts and fizz were muchly appreciated, thank you. Our one disappointment was that the flame-effect fire on the pictures was no longer there. We were looking forward to cosying up in front of that!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Absolutely stunning location. Very clean and well equipped. We parked North Quay car park and used wheelie suitcases.. fairly flat journey. We stayed parked up and used the wonderful Mousehole bus which goes every 20 mins to Penzance and from there you can bus or train all over Cornwall. 3 mile flat coastal walk to Penzance if you prefer. Mousehole Deli for excellent coffee. Note if 4 people staying the smaller bedroom has limited wardrobe space as half taken up by hot water tank. Kitchen a bit tired but very clean. Small issues like hob lights, oven light, fridge light not working. Small things to fix that would have made a difference.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a really lovely time at Tides Reach and the location was perfect. The property is charming, well equipped, nicely laid out and we found it very comfortable and welcoming. The terrace and the huge feature window in the upstairs living space were a real bonus and gave us such lovely views of the harbour. Location is great - we loved the fact that we could just walk or bus everywhere and left the car behind at home. We also loved that we were only a few mins walk from a couple of really nice deli’s, great coffee and some lovely little restaurants. We will definitely be making a return visit!
