The Trottage: Modern 2 Bedroom Seneca Lake Home

Very clean and comfortable. The house was very small, but the outside Deck and patio made up for it. My only complaint is the beds were too small. I would get rid of the bunk beds and replace them with two twin beds or one double bed. Otherwise the place and location were really nice. I hope to come back again.

Beautiful property!

Small but the outside spaces including lake-front, pier, porch, outside furniture made up for the tight quarters. I missed having a dishwasher and washer/dryer but the hot tub was so nice. So many wineries and breweries near by.

The Trottage house is great! We really enjoyed our stay. The house is on the small side but the layout works great. Four of us were very comfortable. For a couple with kids would work great too. It has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable, soft. Everything was clean and easily accessible. AC worked great. Decorated beautifully with guests in mind. The outside is the place to be! The deck and hot tub were awesome! The kayaks provided were great, also had life jackets and easy ramp for in and out, if you dont want to use the dock ladder. The chairs on the dock was my favorite spot!! Love that there was a lots of seating options. We enjoyed looking at all the flowers and herbs around the yard. Hats off to the person who cares (loves) the yard. It shows! Very peaceful!! Our only issue and there is really nothing that can be done about it.. Was the spiders at night. After dark the spiders took over, the dock, swing and front porch railings. They were all over them. But they would all be gone in the morning. I only mention this because there were a lot... but it comes with the lake. Ironically we didnt see not one bug or spider inside the house, which was a shock considering the night time. But no even one. The house was so clean. I was very happy there were none in the house. And they were all gone during the day. I dont think we saw one during the day. It was a very pleasant stay. We would definitely stay again!! Would love to own something like this one day.

we had a great time on the lake. Loved the view and surrounding area. Would do it again.

The place is perfect for 2 people and a dog! Great deck, perfect location, nice kayaks to borrow. I would not want more than 2 people in the house as it is small. Neighbors do allow their dogs to run thru, but they are nice people and so we had a great time. We would rent it again!

Very clean, contained everything we needed to enjoy a weekend away! Quiet and relaxing.

It was very clean, bed was comfy and soft. It was furnished with everything we needed. Bedding, towels, dishes, etc. Hot tub was great and well maintained. It was a great ending to each evening with the cooler weather. We highly recommend the Trottage.

This little house is a perfect spot to relax on the lake. Loved it.

This cottage had everything we needed . A beautiful view every day . We recommend having coffee/tea on the dock to start your day . The yard has really beautiful flowers and herbs . The inside was given a lot of time and thought into every decoration, kitchen items , and comfort . What a great Lake and cottage to visit , and we will be back ! Thank you !

So overall is was a nice place. The porch,yard and deck were fabulous. The house was and is way to small for 3 let alone it states it can sleep 8? We were lucky we had good weather so most of our time was spent outside and out and about. Just no real room. The neighbors to the left were loud 2 nights and allowed their dogs to use our yard to do their business twice and bother our dogs. The last 2 nights it was quiet

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was very clean and beautifully landscaped. The porch and hot tub are great as well as the dock and lawn furniture. We would love to come again on a future vacation.

Good location for visiting Seneca wineries and Watkins Glen Park.Really enjoyed the porch and large deck. Fantastic views of Seneca lake.
