Welcome to the camp by the ocean with all the amenities of home. This beautiful 2 bedroom camp with its huge wrap around deck overlooks an inlet off the beautiful Atlantic Ocean; Harbour De Lute. The cabin is the place to relax with a great book or stream your favorite movie, all while in the company of seals. Equipped with heat, washer and dryer, spacious shower, and comfortable bedding, you can stay for 3 days or a full week. Campobello Island Canada is an island located off the coast of down east Maine. It offers numerous day adventures, including a visit to the Roosevelt museum , a day walking the beaches and playing golf on the island; or you can take a short drive to Lubec Me. In Lubec, you will find whale watch tours, Monica’s famous chocolates, and down east eateries serving fresh catch. If your trip still has time for other adventures, then a short drive to Eastport is definitely your next stop. Eastport’s downtown offers various local shops of fine art, candy, jewelry, and vintage items. Eastport views of the Old Sow Whirlpool, dinner at the Waco Diner, or a drink at the local Brew Pub. If you're lucky enough to be in Eastport over the 4th of July or during the annual pirate festival in September, then you are certainly in for an experience.

We so loved the cottage, trails and coves we are already planning our next visit to Campabello!The location of the cottage on Harbour de Lute, next to several outcroppings of land attracting seals, eagles, cormorants, seagulls and osprey was perfect for watching wildlife and the changes with the tides. We have a lot of pictures to process! Early mornings were magical… watching the sunrise… listening to the haunting seal calls… The cottage was cozy and had everything we needed. The markets on the island are small and have limited supply. The Porch and Pier restaurants had delicious food.

A perfect cottage for our family get away! We loved going down to the water during low tide and watching the seals. Private and cozy cottage. Lots of fun activities to do with kids on the island!

We awoke to birdsong and a beautiful sunrise each day. The deck was perfect for views of the harbor. We watched seals, an eagle on the nearby rocks, and a deer in the woods. The cottage was immaculate, private and had everything we needed for comfort and convenience.

We really enjoyed our stay on Campobello. The cabin is immaculate and well appointed. We really enjoyed the deck and the seal viewing opportunities. We have talked about making this a yearly vacation site. The only thing missing was a bit of wifi.

We had a great stay at the Rooster Cottage. So many extras that made it special. From the charming decor to the colorful tea cups. The host thought of everything. Coffee on the deck, watching the seals. Boats sailing by. The simple quiet moments listening to the waves. A very private location, but only a short drive to restaurants and fun activities.
