The main reason for our trip was the 3 counties autumn show in Malvern but property provided a base slightly closer to home and put us in the most glorious rural countryside amongst charming half timbered cottages and farm houses. Close to National Trust properties and Hay and Hereford. Comfortable rooms and well equipped kitchen

Just had Christmas at the Old Barn, lots of plusses, very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, great spacious living area for us all. Really nice touches like welcome milk, prosecco, eggs and mince pies and a big, decorated Christmas tree. beautiful location. The owner Rob was really helpful for questions about the heating and wood burning stove. Down sides - for 6 people a bigger fridge is needed although there was an under counter freezer so plenty of space for frozen items. Also, the bedroom configuration is not for everyone. You have to walk through one bedroom to get to the third bedroom so unless you’re a very heavy sleeper prepare to be woken up. I think a floor plan should be included to be transparent about this. For a family group it’s ok, but for people who don’t know each other well this could be a problem. Overall I’d recommend this place for a family trip/Christmas
