Stayed Jan 1, 1We were a family of 5 adults, and the Mill at Blockley was perfect for us. We liked that it was in a quiet part of the Cotswold, but still very close to everything we wanted to see and do. It was great to have a Cafe and Co-op Shop within a 5-6 minute walk away. The Pub around the corner was also great and we enjoyed a couple of visits there, including to have dinner one night, which was excellent.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We had a lovely long weekend at The Mill, the house was lovely and in a great location for visiting areas in the Cotswold. There were, however, a few things that perhaps need to be improved, the baking tray in the Aga hadn't been cleaned and was full of grease and this was the only one available. We couldn't find any teaspoons in the cutlery drawer, so we purchased some, only to find later that there was a drawer in the dishwasher that hadn't been emptied and tea spoons and other cutlery were in there. We consider this to be a high end rental, but the welcome pack does not reflect this. It consisted of a packet of biscuits, some cheese straws and coffee pods for a coffee machine we looked everywhere for but never found. Lastly we tried to call your contact number on 4 different occasions for help but these went to voicemail and we were never called back.

Stayed Jan 1, 1We really enjoyed our week in the Mill. It was comfortable, spotlessly clean and everything in great condition. The setting is beautiful, quiet, easy to find (directions were great!) and the home true Cotswolds. The village is lovely, the Great Western pub very hospitable and the food excellent - some of the best we have tasted anywhere in the UK, the village shop became a staple for us with lots of local produce, and the Crown Hotel served a good meal too. It is also well worth a visit. Good proximity to many wonderful villages and to countless walking trails. I only wish all the rentals we book are nearly as good at this!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969A lovely place in a lovely area. Good shop in village and geographically ideal to get to most places. The heating needed a particular adjustment and the Manager couldn’t have been more helpful or more prompt. Lots of places to store food and clothing and just up the road from Daylsford! The upstairs bathroom cabinet had not been cleaned inside and there was a dirty towel on the radiator but the rest of the property was clean. Lots of bare picture hooks with pictures missing and tired paintwork and the bathroom door needs repairing but none of this spoiled the enjoyment of our experience. Loved listening to the Mill race.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The cottage was very warm and very comfortable. We spent the whole week there by ourselves and then our friends joined us for 24 hours. Plenty of room for two couples. The third bedroom is very small. Lots of steps and they are a little slippery. The cottage wansnt as clean as I would have expected but not awful. The sink could do with the silicon replacing and the shower door needs doing the same. The brick above the cooker hood was very dusty so had to clean myself. No welcome hamper but there was some milk and some biscuits and wasn’t expecting although would be nice for a cottage for that price. Beds are very comfortable and the sofa was the most comfortable I have ever sat on! Waiting for the details of where it was bought from stay Cotswold: we would go back (tomorrow), great place to stay with friends.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Beautiful property mixing stone, wood, luxury, antique and modern pieces. High quality comfortable and quiet stay in great location with just the stream cascading alongside it. Highly recommend it for a family of 6-8 to spend time together. Would definitely come back again.
