The house has been refurbished to a very high standard. In particular the bedrooms - so comfortable, spacious and light. The living and dining room are large enough for 11/12 people. Kitchen well-stocked (apart from an electric whisk!). The town and surrounding Shropshire countryside are beautiful. History on your doorstep.

Maltsters House was perfect for hosting a friends' reunion. The house itself is gorgeous, beautifully furnished, and with amazing big spaces in the living room, dining room and kitchen and we could all sit outside as well. The kitchen just about coped with cooking a fry up for 9. It was a brilliant base to have a little wander from with walks through the village up to good views, we had a little dip in the river and there are lots of cute hidden out of the way cafes for drinks. We found a field nearby to play rounders. The host was lovely and gave us useful information and tips before we got there. Fantastic weekend.

Three generations, 2 old dears,6 adults and two little ones. Plenty of room for everyone. Lovely big bedrooms with extremely comfortable beds. Wood burning stove and plenty of seating made it very cosy. Everywhere beautifully clean and plenty of crockery/ cutlery. Well situated for exploring Ludlow town and surrounding area. Lovely shops and places to eat. Parking needs some planning if you have several cars.

The place is newly refurbished throughout with the four large bedrooms having high quality mattresses and bedding. There's a lot of space in the house and being right in the centre of Ludlow meant it was so easy to get anywhere, including the train station.
