We loved our stay at the Rose Cottage. The property is well maintained, clean and has all the things required for a comfortable stay. Best part was the proximity to the park, The garden around the property is just beautiful. The host has done a super job with the landscaping. Don't miss the elevated garden (like a terrace garden), it is in the backyard. It is a great place to enjoy a cup of tea. The view from that place is breathtaking!! We were lucky to see a deer walking around in the near-by area while in the terrace garden.

We were pleasantly surprised with the updated decor. Indoor and out door are quite eclectic, which suited us. We loved to be able to enjoy the fantastic view on the upper patio until sunset and chat through the night on the lower patio. My parents were mid 80s and this was suitable for them as well.

Built in 1935, this home has been added onto to make it very cozy. Jack, the host, is very responsive to questions. He also has decorated the inside with original paintings he painted! Outback, up the hill, there are four chairs and two tables where you can sit and enjoy your favorite beverage looking at the watchmen! We called it our party zone! Little tip – it’s best to back up the driveway from the street so just drive up the street, make sure there’s no other traffic coming and go ahead and back in - there’s room for two cars. We did drive by it three times before we found it. The sign is kind of hidden in the the bushes. It’s right next to a street light though!

Very well thoughout home floorplan. Enjoyed the patio, too. Excellent location for our early morning hikes in Zion NP. Cozy home. Loved the nurturing soap. Only suggestion is to consider replacing the teflon pan ... We prefer using an iron skillet.

Jack's Rose Cottage was such a great place to stay while visiting Zion National Park. Located right on the shuttle line, we had easy access to and from Zion. There are more features Jack doesn't mention in his listing that we discovered that made our stay very memorable. Deer in the yard while we ate supper next to them to serene sunsets from the back patio. WOW! Thanks again Jack!!

The cottage was pristine and charming. Lots of personal touches and artwork. The host was welcoming and very helpful without being intrusive. Views from the backyard were spectacular. Location was great, right in the middle of downtown, but with big enough yard in landscaping to be very private.

Adorable cottage with excellent location close to shops/restaurants yet felt secluded! This cottage has so much charm including Jack's beautiful artwork. The outdoor spaces are exceptional for eating, relaxing and stargazing from the upper patio! The views and huge boulders in the backyard - my rock climbing son approved! We prepared meals and the kitchen had everything we needed; comfortable beds which was a huge plus for my husband as most hurt his back. Glad there was laundry on site as well as we've come across some without and nice to wash up our clothes post ATV and sand days. Jack is very responsive. So glad we were able to grab this for our stay; Zion and Southern Utah are stunning and we can't wait to return to explore more!

This lovely cottage was in the perfect location of Springdale, so close to Zion Park. We parked the car and walked everywhere, to the shuttle stop, to get coffee, the bakery, dinner, shops, etc. Cottage was exactly as shown in photos and was lovely and well stocked. Jack takes lovely care of it and it shows. Beds super comfy. We totally recommend it!

House was charming, owner not so much. Take out and separate your own trash. Wash the towels before you leave, continuous text msgs from owner, no toilet paper. Owner said was coming over at 10 am out to water grass even though it had automatic sprinklers. We had no plans on overstaying, but I guess that is how he operates. We had fun despite these challenges.

Historic Rose Cottage was charming, thoughtfully decorated, comfortable, clean and in a great location. All was smooth from online rental, questions quickly answered by Jack, the host, the home was well stocked, and check-in and check-out was a breeze. The property is so well layed out with an upper patio that we used mornings, afternoons, and evening - breathtaking views. An outdoor seating area for eating with a grill, an outdoor gathering area under cover and lovely landscaping. It is so close to the entrance of Zion. We would highly recommend this VRBO. Jack has his own paintings of the area hung throughout the house. 10/10
