The Cottage an urban retreat.

Stayed at the cottage with my parents and 3 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. We loved how cozy the house was, clean, convenient location, and it had pretty much everything we needed. Alex was quick to respond and very helpful! I loved drinking my coffee in the sunroom and watching the chickens in the morning! Would definitely stay at the cottage again!

It was centrally located in a quiet part of South Minneapolis. The home was very clean, spacious, and charming. My children loved saying hello to their chickens. I would definitely return to this home in the future.

Great location, lots of space, cozy fire places. Beds and bathrooms were clean.

All was just great, as it has always been in the past. A great stay!

This cozy cottage was great for our reunion weekend. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had just about everything we needed for our dinners off the grill. Our host was very responsive and came over from next door to help us adjust the AC on an unusually warm October day ! We very much enjoyed our stay and we do recommend : )

The house is exactly as it is described on the website. It is a beautiful house, with some amazing antique furniture, the gounds are gorgeous - full of beautiful flowers, plants, gardens, and chickens! Alex was a wonderful host, gave us a tour of the property and the stories that surround it all. We look forward to visiting again!!

Best place to stay as its only 10 minutes to Viking and Twins stadiums. The house is great as you could sleep 4 comfortly. Very well clean. Never saw a bug in 6 days. Anyone staying in Minneapolis. THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAYAlex is very interesting person to talk too.

Check in was easy and the house was essentially as described. The south Minneapolis location is perfect for getting to just about anywhere else in the twin cities.

For a very small home, there was a lot of space for each person to have their own area. Felt like a great place to hang out lots of games and family time.

Our stay at the cottage was perfect! The yard around the cottage is absolutely stunning and the chickens are a delight to watch! There was plenty of space for family of 6 adults. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was perfect. It was a quick drive to downtown. I would highly recommend Alex and Bree's cottage.

We absolutely loved this urban cottage! There was plenty of room for our family of 4. I was inspired by the various plants & landscaping throughout the property. We enjoyed spending our mornings with a cup of coffee and watching the chickens! We had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying the week together. Alex took time to stop by and talk to us and it was great getting to know him better. I highly recommend this delightful urban retreat if you're spending time in Minneapolis!

The home was so nice!

We spent a long weekend at Alex's beautiful cottage, and got to tour the grounds of the gorgeous garden and community with our gracious host, which was a treat. We were able to host a group of friends here for a fantastic brunch, which the place couldn't have been more perfect for -- everyone was charmed by the adorable chickens and resplendent environment. The place was very comfortable, spacious, scenic and well -appointed, and Alex made us feel perfectly at home. Can't wait to stay here again on future swings through Minneapolis!

We've stayed at Alex & Bree's home a number of times, and, as always, everything was clean, checking-in and out was easy, and the location was perfect. Our granddaughters enjoyed visiting there, and the chickens are always fun to watch. Alex is a great host and we'll certainly return in the future.

Location was great for getting into thr city quick.

Communication with the host was clear and detailed and check in was easy via the keypad lock, which is super helpful. The place is super cute, just note that one (large) bedroom is in an upstairs attic space and one bathroom is in the basement. Parking was easy and the chickens were surprisingly personable. :)

Our stay this time was a little bit of a struggle, due to frozen and burst pipes! In addition, the dishwasher hadn't been emptied from the last renters, and the oven had not been cleaned in quite awhile. However, Alex, the owner, was extremely responsive, as always, and we certainly will return for future visits.

Our stay this time was for the Chicago Bears-Minnesota Vikings game, and, the stay was great. Clean, comfortable, great location, and great host.Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Great house, family gathered on Christmas Day and we all fit. There was more than enough room.Hosts were quick to respond when I had questions before we arrived.

Parking is a bit of a challenge but it is the neighborhood norm.

We arrived late at night but the host left lights on for us which was great. The house is older but very cozy and had all of the amenities we needed. The location is convenient to all of the activities we had planned: Viking football, Twins baseball and the MIA. We also hiked around the falls. If we had more free time we would have enjoyed the property outdoors. The gardens were amazing and the chickens roaming around was delightful. Thanks for a super getaway.

A real cottage feel inside the city

The cottage was a great place to stay. It was easy to get to, and allowed us to get around the cities hassle free. A nice community with lots of options in driving distance. Hosts were excellent and very helpful.

We all loved the house. More than enough space for all 5 of us. It was like home away from home.

The home was difficult to find. The parkway is very overgrown and finding the front of the house was not easy. It also wasn't easy to walk thru all the vegetation trying to get to the front door. The home was clean and comfortable. It is stocked with all the amenities you may need. The beds were not all that comfortable but it was fine for the short visit we were there for.
