The Cavern on The Green. A unique hand-carved home. Quiet, great views

As described but could use a clothes line.

Very unique and secluded place tucked on the side of a mountain cliff. My wife and i had a very peaceful and relaxing anniversary.

I loved everything about this beautiful little treasure-esp the hot tub, the roof you can lay on to watch the stars and all the little angels in the house!

It was super cute! The host responded and help me with any questions I had. It was so peaceful! No tv so made kids spend time together playing games and talking. We didn’t want to leave!

Everything was great! Super quiet location, a great spot for a break from life.

The place was clean, host was great, the views are pretty. The hot tub was clean and the kitchen had some spices available.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. We couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioning and I emailed him a question. Within minutes he was at our unit to help us with it. The beautiful cabin was very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, spices and seasonings, towels and other necessities. We parked and didn't have to go anywhere the whole weekend. Everything was clean and tidy. The hot tub was wonderful!

The location is very quiet, and secluded. While they host did provide directions, we didn't check in until after dark. Some sort of low lighting, lanterns, would have gone a long way to find our way to the house as Maps didn't know where it was. A TV would have been nice to have, at least in the master bedroom, for night time wind down.

beautiful property, gorgeous views & so unique!

Very unique property! My only negative would be seating in the living room, and maybe some sort of guide for the barn door on bathroom. Hot tub felt great, beds were comfortable. Great for a girls weekend.

Beautiful area, fair amount of privacy. There are 2 other properties just a few yards away so not completely private. Very quiet for the night that we stayed. The home is very unique and cozy. I did have difficulty finding light/fan switches and we were startled by a voice the next morning that we later learned was an Alexa or google nest type device. Be aware that the mattress is not firm. No box springs. But the bed is sturdy.

Neat little place to stay.

My kids and I stopped and stayed here for 2 days as we were traveling to visit family. Loved the house! We all did! Everything was clean, quiet and peaceful. Rick was an amazing w answering questions that we had and gave us suggestions. We can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed staying at the shyer. The design was really nice and very restful location. We just enjoyed our few days there.

This place is on a beautiful piece of land looking up at Lookout Mountain. The house is unique, the hot tub was great, and we loved seeing bunnies out munching the grass of the sloping hills. Highlight was watching ultra lights haul hangliders up over the mountain and soar down, over and over, right from the hot tub!

The property was exactly as advertised, and very clean. Rick sent great instructions on how to get there - a must since we arrived very late and wouldn't have found it without (would be no problem during the day). Short drive to Cloudland Canyon State Park, and Chattanooga. A great weekend! Can't wait to stay again.

This is a very unique property. It is off the beaten path and away from everything. Great place to get away for the weekend near Chattanooga. Rick is a very nice and responive owner.
