Host was fabulous and communicated very well

We loved this little cottage. As soon as we pulled up the maintenance man Albert was right there to help. Our diesel truck and 25’ pontoon would have been a challenge but Albert got a tractor and backed us down. When we left he was there at 8am to pull us back up from the dock. The neighborhood was very quiet. Best of all, we caught our limit of striped bass in 4 hours our second day there. We will definitely visit again. Thank you Tessie!!! A wonderful host and our needs were met perfectly.

We came and stayed 3 nights to fish Lake Murray and had a wonderful time!!

Awesome location and great little cottage!

Stayed 3 nights in June. Tessie met us at property after easy check in. Ample parking for SUV and trailer. Nice carport area. Peaceful setting. Very clean and nicely appointed, everything you need during stay. Bed was very comfortable. Nice screened in porch on lake side. Will stay again when in area.

Great place, close to a restaurant and quiet. Except for the rooster crowing. Great communication with the owner.

perfect for fishing - planty of space for truck, trailer, boat - able to put in right from property - clean, well stocked - perfect

nice clean house, loved the covered boat parking. only issue is the driveway is a little too narrow if you have a boat trailer over 20'.

Nice and peaceful place to stay

Like a lot of lake Murray homes are jammed in everywhere. This one had goats and chickens up the street a bit. The house was very clean. The hostess answered all my questions promptly. We brought our bass boat that is a single axle. I don’t believe you could maneuver a tandem trailer in the confines of the boat ramp and covering . One bed had a very squeaky bed. Bring your own ice. The ice maker wasn’t on. Overall though a nice little place.

Loved the screen in porch and only a few steps from the lake. The kitchen has everything you'll need to make a meal. I'll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was well kept and equipped to easily cook meals. Our communication with the homeowner was amazing! She responded quickly and was more than willing to help when we needed to reschedule.

Overall the stay was great! Looking forward to booking again in the near future.

I can’t review this property because I didn’t get to stay here. I don’t want to give her a bad review but I can’t give 5 stars because I don’t know. I had to stay at another property that didn’t have what I wanted so I cut my trip short. The other house had fleas in it, and chickens right outside the front door that started crowing at 3am.

Cottage was fine for adult fisherman. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking for boats. Ramp was kind of hard to access. Wanted to watch football Game but didn't have local channels. Overall Good experience.

Very nice literally on the water nice people.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was very quiet which is what we were going for. Communication with owner was prompt. Only complaint would be the bed was not comfortable and really needs to be replaced. It was very droopy. There are some animals as next door neighbors which was pleasantly surprising.

This was a business trip more than pleasure - wish we would have had time to enjoy the amenities more. Very nice accommodations.

Our stay was overall great. Very nice neighborhood with a lot of amenities that I don’t believe is listed in the description(I can’t remember lol). Had an unloading dock that could be used and we were able to dock our boat directly in front of the house. About 15 minutes from the stores which isn’t too bad. The only complaint that I have is there was dog hair on all the bedding that was there. We had to take off the comforter and just use our own blankets. There is a washer and dryer available for use we just didn’t want to go through the hassle of washing the bedding. Very responsive and accommodating :) the house was loaded with a lot of dishes, utensils, towels, they even have a gas grill and a nice screened it porch. I recommend to anyone.

Great location and easy access to the lake. We had a blast during our short stay.

The only thing lacking in this secluded getaway cottage is a sign over the door to tell you that you've arrived. Hint: if you're looking at a goat, turn around! The host very prompt ly answered when I called. Loved it!
