Terra Cottage & Turquoise Turtle - 2 Caribbean Cottages with private pool

Terra Cottage is our new favorite place to stay!!! If you're looking for a place that embraces you upon arrival, you need to book Terra Cottage Immediately. We were celebrating my husband's 55th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our entire stay. We're already planning to return next year.

We absolutely loved our stay at Terra Cottage and its smaller guest cottage. A stunning home with a lovely plunge pool that turned out to be larger than expected. A very attentive host, too. We'd love to come back. Highly recommended!

Nestled in a lush and tranquil corner of Bay Gardens, Laura’s two beautiful cottages were exactly what we had hoped for and so much more. All in all a perfect retreat to either chill out at all day or return to after a day exploring the very welcoming island of Antigua. A truly wonderful home surrounded by rustling palms, we especially loved dipping in and out of the refreshing pool and relaxing on the huge and perfectly appointed veranda where the numerous green throated hummingbirds and inquisitive bullfinches were a joy to watch.Both fully equipped cottages have very comfy beds with mosi nets, luxury showers rooms with a never ending supply of towels, coffee makers, refrigeration, ceiling fans and air conditioning, our list goes on and on! The chef’s equipped kitchen in Terra Cottage is impressive, and when we didn’t feel like cooking we walked to Dawns Restaurant at the end of the short drive for extremely delicious local food and cocktails.Laura’s attention to welcome and comfort is second to none. Arriving at night she had arranged a delicious roti dinner prepared and left ready to heat up by the lovely Amanda, along with beer and a well stocked fridge with breakfast essentials. She also helped us arrange car hire with Michael that included a very smooth airport pick up and return.Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home Laura. You went above and beyond for us, you are a superstar super host and your gifts are perfect momentos!

We really enjoyed our stay. The mosquitoes were a problem for us, but we didn’t allow them to take away the joy of being in a beautiful setting. The property manager Ebby was very efficient and Laura, our host, was the best. We enjoyed exploring the island. The property is beautiful.

This property really does have it all! My husband and I stayed in the main house and also rented the smaller cottage for my Mom. We explored most of the island during our 2-1/2 week stay - our first time visiting Antigua. After visiting St. John’s and the south end of the island, we really appreciated the more quiet atmosphere of the north end of the island. The owner, Laura, and property manager, Kathy, were super kind, helpful and a wealth of information to make our stay a fabulous one! Our favorite dining experiences were at Canvas (a short walk from the house), Le Bistro, and Casa Roots. We also enjoyed the businesses in the charming Bay Gardens community - drinks at Door 78, massages at Luxurium, and dining at Dawne’s Soleil Cafe. We would definitely return to Terra Cottage!

Terra Cottage is truly a home away from home! The pictures are just a hint at how wonderful these cottages really are. They are beautifully designed with modern amenities and GREAT showers! Both cottages are beautifully furnished, decorated, and stocked with anything you might need to settle in and enjoy Antigua. The cookware is fantastic! The property managers are attentive and responsive. Everything you need is nearby: grocery store, gas, convenience store, pharmacy, restaurants, beaches, veggie stands, and more! The pool is lovely treat in the morning before the beach or after. The porch is great for conversation, laughs, and rum punch! A 10 minute drive from Fort James beach (which has new child friendly beach club called the TreeHouse Beach Club) and 8 minutes from Dickinson Bay which has restaurants at each end. Terra Cottage will meet all of your needs whether you are on a long or short stay. Laura left no detail to chance. We had a hard time bringing our time to a close. But enjoyed every minute of it! Terra Cottage is AMAZING, we thoroughly enjoyed our extended vacation and felt right at home. Laura is a fabulous host who checked in on us and provided helpful information regarding the services set up (house cleaning, pool cleaning, water delivery) for the cottages which made our stay painless. Her neighbor, Kathy, gave us the lay of the island and had great recommendations of places to visit and eat. And, was available if we needed anything, she was just a WhatsApp away. All in all, we couldn't have been happier celebrating our birthdays at Terra Cottage, it's a vacation that we won't forget! It was a sad day when we had to leave, but we hope to go back. Secluded and quiet, clean and cozy—great for two couples or families with older children. Need to update some of the furniture in the living room but overall, a great place to stay.

Terra Cottage is a little gem. Great location and lovely setting. Pool is perfect. Decor is West Indies Colonial with a wonderful master bedroom.

Just wow. Before even arriving in Antigua, Laura went above and beyond to help my family and myself. Upon arriving to the cottages we were amazed at the beautiful property! The pool and the porch immediately caught our eye. Both cottages were so perfect and furnished so well. The kitchen was spectacular and perfectly set up. The bathroom shower was so wonderful you never wanted to get out! The entire stay Laura, Veronique, and Kathy met our every need and answered the many questions we had! We cannot wait to come back!
