YOU DO NOT NEED GLACIER PARK RESERVATIONS IF you enter the park before 6:00 am or if you visit the park after 5:30 pm. Fenced yard, pets are negotiable! Off street parking. Enjoy a fire at night and barbeque to your hearts content. This quaint little home will welcome you with open arms after an exhausting day of breathtaking sights that Glacier Park has to offer. Other sleeping arrangements are available upon request. The fruit trees will be abundant with fruit around August and we suggest picking as many plums as you desire. Walking distance to eateries and local pubs for those late evenings returning from the park. Columbia Falls is located fairly close to the train tracks so expect a train to be hitting its horn at all times of the day!
Please let me know if you're bringing pets! A small refundable pet deposit of $125 is required. There could be other guests on the premisis at the same time so please be friendly!

The owner works for Glacier National Park in the St. Mary district of the park so feel free to ask any questions regarding road conditions and park information.

This is a cute little place. It’s very neat, tidy, and clean. As a solo traveler with a dog, it was so nice to have a fenced in yard for my dog to enjoy. Only 15 miles from GNP and 1.5 hours from Canadian border. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This location and home are amazing! Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by a window air conditioning system given the current heat. The home is very clean, has info on glacier as well as personal tips/suggestions from the owner (that were utilized and much appreciated)! No microwave, however otherwise we’ll stocked and the stove worked well for cooking. Great size and location for 2 going into glacier west daily. Wish we could have booked our entire trip duration at this home. Highly recommend.

The house was perfect for my husband and I. The location was great and not far from Glacier which is the reason we were visiting. The place was clean and had what we needed for our trip. The only downside was the train that went through the town, which obviously is not the fault of the owners. Overall, it was great!

Small cozy but had everything needed. There were even a few impressive extras, like the noise machine by the bed. I thought that was a really nice touch!

AC had been turned off and it was 89 degrees inside. Shawn and Dan were quick to respond with floor fans to help cool off the cottage.

Perfect spot for my husband and I to explore Glacier and the surrounding area. I would stay here again. Don’t miss the cherry ice cream at Farm to Table which is within walking distance from the room. Gunsight Saloon is also very cool and within walking distance.

Really loved staying there! Could have used a couple more towels and some small glasses/wine glasses in the kitchen. Didn't know we were sharing the backyard with another cabin but it didn't become an issue. Perfect location for doing things at glacier and loved the quiet town and how walkable the location was to groceries, saloon, and park. Would definitely go back

We had a great stay here, and the host was very flexible and allowed us to extend our stay by a day. No bugs seen as some other reviews have mentioned, and there’s some train noise but nothing unmanageable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Reviews warned of train traffic. For some it may not matter. But for us it did. Many trains with many loud horn blowing. I should have paid more attention to reviews. But it did send us to Watertown Canada for a couple of the nites. Unlikely to have gone otherwise and we really enjoyed that.

Walking distance to downtown. New to the area, the neighborhood felt a bit neglected. Property itself was nice. The train is very close and passes by frequently.

A little afraid to write a review because if more people realize what a GEM this place is, I’m afraid it’ll be unavailable when we want to book it next time! :) This week was our second time here and it’s the only place we ever want to stay in Columbia Falls! Super cute, excellent location, clean, perfect for a couple and pups. We just checked out today and are already looking at dates for next year!

Teakettle Kabin was great! Very comfortable, well-provisioned kitchen (including basics like oil and spices - no more bland meals at a rental!), nice outdoor space. Quiet neighborhood but less than 10-minute walk to a full supermarket, several great restaurants and bars. Really convenient location for exploring the west side of Glacier NP and other beautiful parks and towns in the area. Ignore comments about bugs (saw grand total of one spider in 9 days) and the train (much quieter than the dryer, which was not loud), it's not the Ritz but it's really a lovely place.

Very nice and clean. Fenced yard was great for our little dog. Washer and dryer a plus! We actually enjoyed the trains. We just ran a fan at night.

In town for a bike race in Whitefish and exploring Glacier. This location was perfectly situated for accessing both locations and the perfect size for 1-2 adults. Kitchen space is a little tight but can make do. And of course there is the train but you get used to it. All in all a great stay and would come back.
