Swift's All Season Cottage - Dwight, Ontario

Swift Cottage is located in the quaint resort town of Oxtongue Lake, minutes from Algonquin Park's west gate. Enjoy this beautiful cottage with two stone fireplaces, gorgeous gourmet kitchen and an open-concept great room. You'll find a games room in the finished basement with slate pool table. The wood grand staircase leads to the third floor where you will find three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, including a spacious master bedroom with it's own private full bath. Across a small cottageroad there is a private gated sandy beach area with dock for use by Swift Cottage guests exclusively. There is also a screened-in gazebo in the front yard off the deck. The Swift Cottage is located close to hiking and biking trails, and only a stone's throw from Algonquin Park. Take a paddle from the dock to the Ragged Falls for a short day trip. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of this four-season cottage. Great wilderness adventure is just out your door. Try canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, fishing and swimming in the summer. Use the cottage as a base for day trips into Algonquin Park. In the winter enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing from the cottage or take a short drive to the many cross country ski trails in Algonquin Park . If downhill skiing is on the agenda take a twenty minute drive to Hidden Valley Ski area for some winter fun! Then head back to the cottage to warm up around one of the cozy two fireplaces.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE: BED LINENS, PILLOW CASES, COMFORTERS , BATH TOWELS, FLOOR BATH MATS or KITCHEN TOWELS. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN. WE DO PROVIDE FRESHLY LAUNDERED MATTRESS COVERS and PILLOW COVERS WHICH WILL BE CLEANED AFTER EACH DEPARTURE.
***IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE LINENS AND TOWELS DURING YOUR STAY THERE IS AN EXTRA FEE OF $20.00 EXTRA FOR EACH GUEST FOR THE ENTIRE STAY***

*During our off season( January - June and September- December we require a 3 day minimum stay)* *Summer rates are based on weekly rates the check in is 4 pm and check out 10 am this is strict so we have time to properly sanitize after each stay. *

CHECK IN FOR JULY AND AUGUST IS TYPICALLY IS SUNDAY TO SUNDAY AND WEEKLY ONLY DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. *IF THE END OF THE MONTH HAPPENS OVERLAP THE FOLLOWING MONTH DURNING JULY AND AUGUST TO COMPLETE THE WEEKLY RENTAL THEN THE WEEKLY PEAK PERIOD WILL GO INTO THE BEGINNING OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH TO COMPLETE THE PEAK PERIOD.



A damage deposit is taken upon check in to ensure no damages occur during your stay.

We are thrilled to share our cottage with you and hope you make many fond memories with
family and friends for many years to come!

Before you leave we just ask a couple favours to help our cleaning crew prepare for the next
guests arriving later in the day.

- Please take all trash including bathroom trash bags to the garbage receptacle at Algonquin Outfitters.
- Please load all dishes in the dishwasher and run it through the normal cycle to ensure there are no dirty dishes are left on departure.
- Please place used sheets and towels in the laundry room and kindly start a load of towels on your departure.
- Please make sure the thermostats are turned down to 17c in the winter.
- Please lock all doors and return the key to the front desk where you checked in at Algonquin Outfitters on your departure.
- Please wipe down all counter surfaces and stove top in kitchen area.
- Please remove all food from fridge and wipe inside of fridge down.
- Please leave the cottage in the condition it was rented to you.
- The Swift All Season Cottage is pet free and smoke free, if you must smoke please do so outside and ensure no cigarette butts are ignited or left outside.
- If the cottage is left damaged or untidy there is a cleaning fee applicable of $500.00 for
extra cleaning or damage.

- If you exceed the number of persons stated and agreed upon you will be subjected to
$500.00 charge and evection. We work on the honour system and trust you will too.
