Ideal location for exploring the area and very close to local shops and pubs.A very spacious cottage with comfortable beds and good heating and plentiful hot water. Although a little 'tired' and in need of some TLC and updating it had everything we needed for a comfortable rather than luxurious stay and feel this way reflected in the price we paid. We would be happy to return.

The cottage has plenty of room for 7 including a spacious lawned garden leading to the river. This was the main reason for us booking as my family wanted to do paddle boarding and kyaking which proved to be easy from the end of the garden area. The cottage was clean and well provisioned except for a few items in the kitchen which we woul have liked - chopping board, egg cups, sieve, tablespoons. The cooker, toaster and microwave were brilliant. We didn't use the dish washer or washing machine though we did try out the hoover! The decor may look a bit tired but it was fine for us as we really only slept & ate breakfast and eve meal there - mostly at the big table in the garden as the weather was great all week. Beds big and comfortable with plenty of pillows and light duvets. All in all a lovely cottage to enjoy. Just a shame it involved such long journeys from Birmingham and Southampton! Our first meetup from lockdown so so glad the cottage was available still. Thankyou!
