Always great staying at the cottages very cosy very large double bed plenty of room for the six of us staying at Swallows

This cottage was lovely and very spacious. I loved it had a games room and the horses surrounding us.

All of our family stayed in the Spixworth Cottages for our wedding which we had in the barns. My family who stayed in the Swallows said it was very clean and tidy, set out well with everything you needed. A nice touch was added on arrival with all condiments for our stay. Visited Spixworth Hall Cottages with our children and grandchildren for the third year in a row, and had a great time once again. The accommodation is very well presented and everything you need is provided. The facilities very close by, such as the outdoor playground and the play barns, are ideal to keep young, and also older, children amused safely without the need for constant adult supervision. Slightly further away is the swimming pool, which is always really warm and inviting whatever the weather. The system for booking private sessions for your party ensures that everyone gets a fair chance to use this great facility. Finally found time to try out the fishing lake this year, and was impressed and surprised by the fish that we caught. We still haven't played tennis though, and this will now have to wait for a future booking. All in all, the properties are excellent value for money and are very accurately described on the web-site. There should be a cottage which will suit most medium sized parties. One family had actually booked them all for a huge family celebration during the week before we visited.

We were a family of 4 children with parents, grandparents and an Auntie and everyone said this was our best family holiday yet. The swimming pool was perfect. The boys loved the fishing lake and are now hooked (no pun intended) on fishing. We spent every evening in the Games Room and slept soundly every evening. We didn't have time to explore much of the farm or try out the tennis courts. Hopefully next year. The setting of the cottages is peaceful and quiet and feels a million miles away from everyday life. All in all, a really lovely week.

An excellent holiday home with everything you need... a wonderful place,and so near many places to visit. Had Swallows cottage with two grandsons and theres plenty of room . Comfortable beds. And 3 toilets and bathrooms. Excellent value

This is the second time we have stayed at swallows and we will be back again. We absolutely love staying here. The cottage is perfectly located for lots of local attractions. The facilities are fantastic, the children love the outdoor space, the play area and the play barn. The cottage itself is well equipped and always clean and tidy. We will be back again next year!

We had a great stay here and the Lodge cottage with 2 other families (6 adults and 6 kids and a dog). The surroundings were breathtaking with a constant sound of bird song. The facilities were so great for 6 kids under the age of 8 that we only left the farm once in 7 days:) playbarn shows and new friendships made with other children, plus outdoor heated swims and some grass court tennis! It was a fantastic stay and we can’t wait to go back. A rustic homey stay which is perfect for families looking to getaway from the city life and enjoy a laid back week!

The accommodation is a short drive or bus from Norwich. We were in Swallows Cottage and had more than enough space for 8 adults. The furnishings were clean and comfortable. The kitchen had a washing machine and dishwasher. The lounge has a TV and a fireplace, with wood provided. We only brought our own soap, cooking oil and food ingredients. Jack was very responsive whenever we had any questions or requests. I would highly recommend this accommodation and will return in the future.

Beautiful cottages. Hired 4 cottages so all 26 members of our family could stay and celebrate my partners 50th birthday. Something for all ages to do on site and staff were very helpful with any needs we had. Would definitely recommend

Can’t fault our stay, We booked Pond and Swallows for a family holiday for 10 which worked well, as the cottages have internal access to each other when necessary. The new games room is a great asset, and the private use of the outdoor heated pool such a bonus. Fishing at the venue provided another interest, and the general ambiance of the place along with the friendly and helpful staff made it a perfect holiday for our families.

Three generations with children from 3yrs to 19yrs,so much on site for all, we enjoyed the fishing, swimming and games rooms. Good booking service where every cottage gets some private time. Well-equipped cottages, everything clean and comfortable. Shelagh and family make sure you have everything you need and are always on hand when needed. The good weather was an added bonus. Our second visit and we hope to be back again. Highly recommend
