Sutherland cottage is one of five cottages at Glen Ayr Cottages, situated in the heart of Pokolbin vineyards, five minutes' drive from Hunter Gardens, concert venues, and many wineries. Sutherland is a comfortable two-bedroom cottage with a queen bed and twin single beds; the bedrooms are en-suite. It has a large living and kitchen area with an open fire and air-conditioning. Stayed Nov 4, 2023We reserved this cottage for a night to attend a wedding in Hunter Valley and found the cottage minimal but clean and easy to check-in and use as a base for getting ready. We appreciated the tea and coffee available. Would also be a cozy destination in colder months with the fireplace.

Stayed Sep 22, 2023We loved our time in Pokolbin. Our host even had the fire all ready for us just to light and had supplied tea and coffee and milk. For me it's the little things I appreciate. We enjoyed our cuppas on the verandah and the quietness of the place and watching the footy on the tele in front of the fire. We will definitely stay there again.

Sutherland cottage has a beautiful view, amenities were clean and comfortable and it truly felt like home away from home. Will most definitely be coming back. Thanks to Bill for his hospitality.
