Superb Hideaway Luxury House

Beautiful place that was warm, comfortable and inviting. Perfectly clean and ready on our arrival. View was fantastic (even with the clouds and a bit of rain)! Since it's an eco house, just a few simple steps when running dishwasher or washer. However, our property caretaker met us when we arrived to provide directions.Unpaved road took a little longer (about 8-10 minutes) than expected (and a little bumpy at times) but easily accessible with a regular 2WD car.Would definitely stay here again!!

An indescribably beautiful vacation up there in solitude. Pure nature, a breathtaking view, peace and relaxation. Very nice welcome from the hostess. The house lacks nothing, great beds, we slept very well. Internet reception via cell phone and also Wifi rather difficult, but that's the point of loneliness :-) The 3 horses were spoiled daily by our children. AMAZING!!! Location is unbelievable, with the feeling of being remote from everything (if you are ready for the 15minutes drive up the slightly bumpy road). Gorgeous views from up there. Everything is clean and cosy. Petra was very welcoming and helpfull. We had very active days hiking and visiting julian Alps. Unforgettable week!!

It’s hard not to fall in love with this place. It takes your breathe away with the view. The place has tons of character and is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Very responsive hosts who are super friendly. It was very hard to leave. Highly recommend.

Getting to the property up the unmade road in cars full of luggage was a challenge but once we were there it was fabulous. The property is very comfortable . The isolated location and the view across the valley to Triglav are wonderful, exactly as shown on the website. The area provides excellent walking. The local people were very friendly.

I can really recomand this house, its even better than it looks on the photos, with everything you need, great decor, very comfortable beds, absolute peace and quiet. And the view to the montains is amazing. The right place for those who likes nature, hiking and climbing. We spent five days there, two couples, and we really enjoyed, even the weather was perfect. Thanks also to Petra and his husband, they did a great job to make us feel welcome. We certainly will book again.

Everything about Dovje Eco Lodge met our expectations. It is quite remote, which we enjoyed, and the views from the house are wonderful. The house itself is very comfortable, yet stylish and modern, and we found it to be quite spacious for four of us. The grounds are lovely with plenty of different seating/relaxing areas. We have rented many holiday properties over the past few years, in many different countries, and Dove Eco Lodge is one of the best.
