Sunny with a chance of Golfballs

The property was well maintained and offered plenty of space for our large group! It was walkable to the beach without being too close to noise. The amenities are fantastic, we are already planning to come back another time and will definitely be staying here longer when we do!

Pros:• Great location at an affordable price!• Amazing private pool• Open living space great for spending time with family and friends• Extremely responsive host (we had a shower drainage issue that was resolved within 90 minutes) Cons:• Kitchen was not as well-stocked as you would hope. No measuring spoons, only a 1/3 c, 1 c, and 2 c measuring cups. No crockpot. • Queen beds very low to the floor. Maybe 18”-24” high. Fairly significant when you’re in your 40s. Logistical points:• The house is right on a golf course. We had a neighbor warn us that stray balls regularly pose a danger to him and his family. He specifically referenced the pool being a dangerous area; just want to be sure you’re paying attention! • There are two bathrooms, one on each side of the home. This is *doable,* but with 4 adults and 9 children it was definitely a challenge. Lol. • The loft area is up a ladder, not stairs. Overall:I would recommend this place for two families or one larger family! The pool, hot tub, and deck area provide a great space to hang out together without feeling cramped. Because of there only being two bathrooms, I would not recommend this property for a group of adults. I think that would be difficult, unless you have a very low maintenance group of men and women. The kitchen is great for cooking, but it definitely needs additional tools to be considered “fully stocked.” Great experience overall, and you can’t beat the price for the OBX!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house was great, plenty of room, the pool was huge, and such a nice easy walk to the beach! We enjoyed taking evening walks down the street, and walks to grab coffee in the morning. Location was perfect, house was stocked with everything we needed even kid plates and dishes for our little ones. When planning every message was answered with a quick response. We would absolutely recommend this house and hope to stay again in the future.
