Sunny, Cheerful, Tranquil Cottage Near Acadia, Bar Harbor, & More

This house was beyond amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how gorgeous the property was — both the home itself and the land surrounding it. Every detail felt carefully thought out. The bedrooms were beautiful, cozy, and so comfortable. The kitchen and dining areas were perfect for cooking together and sharing meals — spacious, modern, and incredibly well stocked.The location in Trenton made it easy to explore Acadia and Bar Harbor while still feeling peaceful and private when we came back in the evenings. Sitting outside and taking in the scenery was such a highlight — it’s the kind of place you never want to leave.We’ve stayed in plenty of rentals, but this one truly stands out. I can’t recommend it enough and would come back in a heartbeat!

The home was wonderfully maintained and was cozy to stay in. It had everything we needed and the host was very communicative, which was appreciated. We were visiting from out of state and felt the proximity to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, and Ellsworth was quick and an easy drive. We truly enjoyed our stay and would book here again if we’re in the area.

The Oak Point Cottage was wonderful. It was super well equipped, very clean, and accommodated 5 adults easily. We chose it first of all because it was close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The cottage was as cute as the photos and well kept up. The host was VERY helpful and available to answer a number of questions we had before arriving. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

We enjoyed our week vacation to Acadia NP. This Trenton based house is a great location for BH and SW Harbor Area (within 20 minutes drive to both). Accommodations were perfect! The owner was very accommodating.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! We enjoyed the location and the distance to Acadia. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed and more! It felt like we were staying at a family member's house, instead of a vacation rental. June took great care in making sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying there to my family and friends and would stay there again on our next trip to Acadia.

June was a wonderful host who made the check in and checkout process smooth and simple. The cottage is in a perfect location only 20 minutes drive to the park and downtown Bar Harbor.

We used this as our base for visiting Acadia. This VRBO was clean and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. Was a great place to house our family of 5. It was a very quiet, peaceful and out of the way place. June was very responsive to any questions we had.

Beautiful home. Beautifully furnished. Immaculately clean

I was there with 2-couple friends to enjoy coastal Maine and Acadia National Park. The home was clean and well equipped for comfortable living the week we were there. The furnishings are nice and plenty of our party of 5; the beds were comfortable with bedrooms having dressers and bed storage to unpack for the week. Lovely Cottage and only about 25 minutes from Acadia. Trenton had an ample grocery store w/i 10 minutes from house and Ellsworth about 20 minutes was a bit larger, so a few more options in terms of shopping and Restaurants. Quiet and serene setting. You can't go wrong with a stay at Oak Cottage. The Owner, June is very responsive to any questions and forthcoming with local information which was very helpful.

We stayed at the cottage 7 nights. Wonderfully relaxing. Was very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again. It was only a short drive to Bar Harbor and other areas, but in a quiet location.
