Stayed Apr 12, 2025Really nice property just as the photos had everything we needed, great surroundings with character the pool area was perfect and well kept a very relaxing and friendly environment . The attached history to the Conch Republic was very interesting and maintained. Communications with Roberta were again very easy and in a timely & friendly manner Easy walk to Duval st and other attractions. All in all a great place to stay and would highly recommend

Stayed Nov 7, 2023This old Key West style bungalow is in a great location. Quiet neighborhood, with a short walk to the southern end of Duval Street. We had a scooter, which made getting around even quicker and easier. Ubers are plentiful and quick to arrive. The property is surrounded by tropical foliage, and the shared pool is just steps from either door. The inside is clean and comfy. There are two other houses on the property, but we didn't even notice them, and felt like the house was ours alone. For cat lovers, Kitty resides on the property, and will show up if you call, for food and pets. We can't wait to go back, and highly recommend this lovely bungalow!

Stayed Jan 15, 2026Our host was hospitable and made sure our stay was enjoyable. The pool was great and right outside of the cottage. I would have liked more hangers in the closet as there were only 4 and we were there for over a week. Overall our stay was very nice and we can’t wait to come back to Key West!

Stayed Dec 24, 2025The host was indeed welcoming but the amenities were not, unfortunately. The pool was heated but not warm enough to enjoy. The old time “key west” feel was there but we were not slightly pleased with the bed and couch being that way also-literally the worse I’ve ever encountered. The shower head needs to be replaced badly. I was not expecting that at all with the appearance of this place. I will say we would stay again if these things were corrected.

Stayed Oct 19, 2025The unit just seemed to be a bit past its best. The fixtures were seemingly installed in the 1950s and are showing plenty of wear (chipped kitchen sink; shower head sprays a random mist; shower needs to be regrouted; light pours in between the front door and its frame). Multiple light bulbs (LR, BR, kitchen) were out, and there were various places where the walls had been patched but not fully repainted. The external lighting situation is not great either. The walk to the cottage is quite dark, and while there is a motion activated light, the sensor is located at the gate end of the path, so it doesn't help when you depart hardly at all. But, the sensor point is still easily a dozen feet into the yard (after the gate), so you still have to walk blind past the gate until the light comes on.Also, there is a single (always on) security light that I guess serves the central area between the 3 units on the property. Annoyingly, it is aimed directly at the head of the bed in the bedroom, and angled so that it beams between the window frame and the blinds. Some things were better than I expected: the patio at the rear of the unit made for a great dining room (we ate most of our 'home' meals there); the ice cube trays were top-notch; there were two hair-dryers in the bathroom. For sure, being there means you are in Key West, which was an excellent as always. You can definitely store your stuff, and get a decent night's sleep.

Stayed Apr 5, 2025Cute little cottage. Clean, spacious, great proximity to everything. Pool was literally right off the back steps. Perfect temperature and crystal clean. Rented bikes for the week, easy to get around with quiet neighborhood and streets. Homeowners were very gracious and offered lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We will be back.

Stayed Dec 11, 2024My wife and I spent a week in Key West in early December, staying at the lovely old cottage at 823B Virginia Street. The dedicated off-street parking spot was a bonus, as was access to a nice washer/dryer. Roberta Mira was excellent to work with and very prompt in sharing information. We would recommend the property if the size fits your needs. Most especially, we advise working with Ms. Mira when visiting Key West.

Stayed Oct 1, 2024This quaint little bungalow has everything you need. We walked about 21 miles overall during our 8 day stay but we were able to see so many amazing things. We went fishing, went on a sunset cruise, walked to several of the museums. We were Awed by the rich history. I think we actually ate our way through Key West and still had a few meals in the bungalow. Oh did I mention the almost private pool. We loved that, after a long day walking we would come back and soak in the pool for a while. We also got a bonus as we were there during hurricane Milton. We were not really affected by the storm but our flight out was cancelled. Spoke with Roberta and we were able to stay another night. Overall we had a blast!!!
