Had a great time in NH. The cabin is great-lots of history and info about it. I think the fresh air and the sound of rain helped us sleep in almost every day. If you're short, be prepared to literally jump into bed . It's close enough to civilization for convenience but secluded enough to be relaxing. It is a cabin in the woods so you'll make friends with the local spiders but they did a great job of keeping bugs out.

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was impeccably clean and felt like home upon walking in. We loved the fire pit and the large yard to explore (especially our dog). Plenty of entertainment inside the cabin for the days the weather didn't cooperate. Thank you for a great place to stay!

The cabin is rustic and very well decorated. We enjoyed all the personal touches the host has created. The fire pit was comfortable and there was a nice supply of wood readily available, which led to s’mores being eaten! It’s just a wonderful place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully restored cabin. The welcome basket we received was greatly appreciated! The cabin is very clean and decorated beautifully. We were able to get out on the lake for an early morning canoe trip that was so serene. Our dog loved cooling off in the water also. Northwood brewery and bakery are fabulous!

Cute little place and the lake is a short jaunt down the road. The fire pit was a nice treat and the cottage has adequate provisions. One of the days was chilly and rainy so the indoor electric fireplace was a bonus. I was fasting from media/people but The Cottage is nicely stocked with plenty of DVDs, and has Wi-Fi though I never turned the tv or my phone on. Northwood appears to be a nice little town and I got to witness some neighbors walking their pig which was comical.

We stayed in early October. The cabin has a wooden roof. This is the time of year where acorns drop from the trees around the property. They sound like gun shots when they hit the roof of the cabin. This woke us up numerous time during the nights that we stayed there.

Beautiful cottage and allowed our dog to stay with us. We stayed for a week, it was great having a kitchen to use and a full bathroom. Games, dvds and puzzles were a bonus! Loved the screened in porch and having the grill to use as well. Will definitely recommend and be back again!
