Awesome little place with an amazing view. Perfect for myself, my wife, and our 1 year old. Christine was very friendly and accommodating. It was nice to fish off of the rocks as well. Definitely would recommend!

The cottage is perfect! We had an amazing stay. Convenience of transit, snorkeling off your own private beach and all the amenities provided make this a perfect spot for a couple or a small family holiday.

Location on the water was ideal for us. We fished almost every day, and snorkeled right from the beach at the bottom of the steps. The sunrises/sunsets were just icing on the cake!

Small but wonderful, we will be back!

Best view on the Island.

This was our second stay at this lovely cottage on Mangrove Bay in Somerset Village. Christine is wonderful to deal with and our stay had all the right amounts of beach time, snorkeling, relaxation, ferry trips to both Hamilton and St George and some really great food throughout our stay. We were at first disappointed to find that our favorite fish sandwhich joint (Woody’s) was not serving food any longer, but we found an equally good one at Fishbones at the dockyard. Shout out also to the restaurants at Cambridge Beaches (easy walking distance). We had several spectacular meals there. Great time was had for sure and we will be back.

Clean, great location, awesome for swimming & snorkeling

Hands down, best VRBO property on the island for a couple! The location is perfect - right by a bus stop surrounded by your own stunning beaches. The snorkeling was excellent each day and the paddleboards and noodles were a great perk. You get to enjoy the sunrise and sunset daily from the yard/beach. We felt like we didn't need to leave the property - it was our own little paradise. Christine was great as well. We took her up on her offer of picking up/delivering our grocery order which was lovely of her to do for us. Greatly appreciated and can't wait to get back!

AMAZING!! This was our 2nd time staying here and I can’t say enough great things about it! Perfect size for my husband and I, unbelievable views, clean, quiet, and easy access to everything in Bermuda because the bus stop is only a few steps away. Christine is a wonderful host who’s responsive and friendly. Thank you for another incredible vacation!!!!!

My husband and I spent a week at this amazing property, and had a great time. The house is simple but has everything you need. We spent most of our time in the outdoor spaces snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, reading, fishing, etc. and taking in the views. The house is away from the crowds, but conveniently located near ferries and buses to explore the island. This was our first time to Bermuda, but certainly won’t be our last. Thank you, Christine!

The place was fantastic. We went for our honeymoon and stayed in July. The outdoor area and location of the property was perfect. Plenty of safe swimming (with water shoes) and places to check out. Quick walk to bus stop to take you anywhere on the island. Only downside was the interior of the house. The stove had some issues that we worked out and some of the receptacles didn’t work (not a huge deal) and one of the French doors wouldn’t shut all the way. Would definitely stay here again without a question, definitely recommend!

We enjoyed the location. Amazing view every morning with coffee and tea. Watching the boats come in and out of the bay was fun. We saw sea turtles and glow worms, as advertised. Christine was quick to answer our questions and check in was effortless. We enjoyed paddle boards, a tandem kayak around the bay, and the anchored floating raft. You could not ask for anything more. We are already planning another stay.

Once again, we really enjoyed our stay. This has to be the best little cottage in Bermuda. Thank you and see you soon. Jo and Ed

Spent 4 nights at the cottage and had a great trip. The location can’t be beat. We used the paddle boards and kayak daily. The host Christine was super helpful even picking up our grocery order. We can’t wait to go back!

Just a great trip - soup to nuts - A - Z - coming back

For our first trip to Bermuda, we wanted to concentrate our time on the iconic water and lots of walking, less so on tourist attractions. This Somerset spot was perfect for us. We snorkeled right off the beach here (great fish variety), fished almost every day from the rocks, made several kayak trips and on a low-wind day, used the SUP's! We had a great time. The water here is as spectacular as the pictures show. We didn't rent a car or moped (we might if we came again) but we had no trouble using the bus system, which is extremely convenient to the cottage. We also walked to lots of places, and had no difficulty walking on the roads. The cottage is compact and has everything you need, but honestly we spent most of our time outdoors! The host, Christine, was very welcoming, helpful and responsive.

Loved it, going back again!

We had a WONDERFUL stay and can't wait to go back. It is such a beautiful spot and we were so happy to discover that the fishing (and swimming) is excellent right from the rocks on the property. The hosts were wonderful and gave some great fishing tips as well!

From the minute I arrived u til the minute I left, I was in paradise. The property and all of its amenities were 5 star. I can’t wait to come back

This house has 2 sets of stone steps- 1 leading to the water and 1 leading to a beach. There are paddle boards at the house to use. The bus stops are not far away. However the bus doesn’t allow big suitcases on them so you will probably need to get a taxi to and from the airport. Christine came and met us to show us around and make sure we were settled. She is great and the place was great. Would definitely go back again!

This was my husband and my second time at the rental and, once again, it did not disappoint! The location was beautiful, the amenities perfect, and the host extremely helpful and communicative. We can’t wait to come again!

This cottage is absolutely stunning! Just what we needed for a romantic getaway on the edge of the ocean. Completely private and had everything. So convenient to everything if you want to venture out, but we rarely did because there is no nead to leave. Owner was great and the entire process was very easy.

This property needs some repairs and upgrades. The location is beautiful. It is very near the bus stop and ferry so it is a great location to get around. The host was responsive enough. In all honesty we would not return.

Amazing location in the most peaceful of settings. I stayed here for five nights and enjoyed it the fullest. You are just feet away from the water each morning you open the front door. There is so much to take in and experience. I was able to kayak to nearby islands, grill out on the bbq, frequent local eateries, workout at the nearby gym, and enjoy endless sightseeing. I’ve been to over 15 Caribbean islands and this is easily in my top 3 of best places to stay. Loved every second I was here.

This spot is a GEM! Not only is the property gorgeous and on the water, but we were surprised at the beautiful deck furniture, a fire pit, snorkeling gear and a paddle board! Our host was very communicative and offered great information on transportation and food. She even offered to pick up groceries for us! I highly recommend this cottage for your intimate stay on the island!

Sugar Cane Cottage was totally amazing, from the Tiny Home to the prestine grounds incl the private beach. The property was clean upon arrival with all the amenities, and within close proximity to Somerset Village, Woody's and Dockyard. Love love love it. Making this an annual Staycay without a doubt!

This location is just unbelievable. Wake up in the morning and have your coffee overlooking the beautiful blue water and finish your day watching the sunset right in front of you. Getting around is really easy with buses going by all the time and the bus stop is very close. We would stay here again for sure.

A short long weekend for our daughter’s fall break gave us an opportunity to visit Bermuda. The location with private beach was beautiful! The water was a little chilly but we enjoyed snorkeling and swimming. Also had a little time to use the clear bottom kayak. Water was a little rough when I was able to give it a try. Would love to e back when I can stay longer during warmer weather.

Our stay at Sunset Studio Cottage was fantastic. We enjoyed our little beach for relaxation and snorkeling. The cottage was super clean, comfortable, and quaint. The views were spectacular from every direction. I'm not a big shopper, but it rained for two days, so we went to the Dockyard. My favorite store is the Craft Market, where I can buy local goods to bring home. Good eats: il Pomodoro, Somerset - great pizza Pastels @ Cambridge Club - fresh fish was excellent, and guac and chips Anchor Restaurant, Dockyard - best fish sandwich and Caesar Mary Wahoo's, St. George's - also the best fish sandwich and dark and stormy Christine, thank you for allowing us to stay with you. This was our third trip to Bermuda, and we can't wait to return. Regards, Jo and Eddie

We did not want to leave!! The tiny house was clean and located in an ideal spot. Easy walk to the buses and ferry. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning and night watching the fish go by. Sunsets were amazing. The locals were super friendly!!! Our host Christine took care of our every need. We are now on the other side of the island in St.Georges and missing the tiny house and the hospitality of the locals. Wish we would have stayed longer!

This property is absolutely stunning! We had a easy check in process as well as check out. The host was vwry quick to reply - which was very appreciated. Transportation needs are met through the taxi or bus line. One thing i will mentiom is there is not mucj to see tourist wise near the cottage Tou will need to transportation to go pretty much anywhere to eat. Again this place is great and well worth the cisit!

The property was as listed. If you fish, snorkel, or enjoy looking at clear blue/green water and gorgeous sunsets- this is your place! You will be able to completely relax at Christine's property. Highly recommend!

Everything was great! Private little beach was awesome , few short steps to the bus stop which was great and the ferry (limited schedule) which worked out perfectly for us going to Harbor night. The property had everything we needed for cooking. We were able to see glow worms right out back which was neat to see. We’ll definitely be back
