Stunning Lakefront Retreat 1 Hr from Toronto

It was an amazing stay. So peaceful and the location was deceivingly private. We loved every minute of being at this VRBO.

Beds and pillows were great! Location was perfect. The yard and beach were a huge plus.

The property was truly enchanting! Absolutely beautiful gardens and setting. It was a warm and comfortable family home. I am disabled and could navigate the property with ease. The host was helpful and responsive. The information provided in the home was also very helpful. We highly recommend this host and property!

First and foremost, Elise was an amazing host! There was a s’mores/snack tray made up in the fridge for us and Elise was always there to answer any questions. Now…the property….it was absolutely stunning! Despite the rain we had the first few days, it was still absolutely breathtaking! The home had everything you could possibly need and the beds were all comfortable. We had the best time and my youngest son and his girlfriend had a beautiful prom. We cannot wait to return to this beautiful home! Thank you Elise!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming vacation home that exceeded my expectations in every way. The property is meticulously maintained. The home itself was clean and modern, offering many amenities. One of the standout features was the ease of beach access. I had my two young kids and access to the beach and water was perfect for them. The sand was clean and great to play in. Water access was shallow, and got deeper further in, perfect for our kayaks. The host was prompt with responses and incredibly helpful. A whimsical touch that we enjoyed was the charming bunny decorations scattered throughout the house. Overall, this vacation home was perfect for our getaway. Hope to stay again!

The cottage itself is worth the stay; clean, well-appointed and comfortable. We felt at home right away! But, that’s just the start; the very private location right on Lake Ontario is absolutely wonderful. The well cared for rolling lawn extends to lake access. The mature trees and well-tended garden set off this peaceful and beautiful setting! Shops and restaurants are a few minutes away. The Host was accessible and with good cause takes pride in their property. Highly recommended!

We rented this house for a ladies weekend. We are 6 friends who get together once a year. The property is stunning and the views from inside the home are incredible. The house was spotless and had everything you need to enjoy yourselves. The personal touches did not go unnoticed (fresh tulips in most rooms, welcome note and wine, basket by back door with towels and flip flops to use when going outside to hot tub, umbrellas to use if it is raining while walking to bunkie, etc..). The bunkie is the third bedroom. It is a lovely bunkie with a nice view of the water. There is no bathroom in the bunkie and therefore would not be ideal for those who need to go through the night but it is just a short walk to the house. Nice, easy walk to the downtown shops and restaurants as well as the public beach. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us!
