Stayed Aug 3, 2024Excellent location for both the beach and amenities, not to mention St Michaels’s Mount! We very much enjoyed our stay. We can thoroughly recommend both the Chapel Rock Café located directly opposite the cottage, together with The King’s Arms for a lovely meal, just a few minutes walk away. Also, the host is quick to respond. Just a few niggles… My husband is just over 6ft tall and did bang his head on the low ceilings downstairs a few times. Bedroom three is extremely tight to have a double bed. All the mattresses were very soft, so it was difficult for us all to get some sleep. And the property would really benefit from an additional small bathroom/cloakroom. A chest of drawers/dressing table would be very welcome in the duck egg blue room. Downstairs, the sofas seem to have lost their support, which made them uncomfortable for us. Overall. A lovely (clean) character cottage in charming Marazion. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed Oct 23, 2021Located in a great location with easy access to the beach. Parking is a medium walk away. We managed with one toilet for 6 people but adding a small en-suite to the largest bedroom could work well. An enjoyable half term stay, at a fair price, though it was wet and windy!

Stayed Aug 21, 2021Perfect location, clean, bright and welcoming. We were staying with my elderly father who struggles with walking and the house was easily accessible and had stairs that he was able to manage safely and well. (V important factor for us). Kitchen was fully equipped and having garden access was handy when returning sandy from the beach. Sue was very helpful and easily contacted, would definitely recommend.

Stayed Jul 17, 2021Meledor is located right in the heart of Marazion, we could just walk to the beach 'beach ready' and pop back to change before lunch. The Godolphin was great place to relax, get there early if you haven't booked. There can be some noise from the traffic, it's a main route along the coast but this didn't spoil the stay. Parking for the week in the long stay carpark a few hundred meters away was £50 and we always managed to get a space even during busy times. The house is well provisioned, netflix, sky, broadband keep kids entertained in the evening, a nice private patio area to unwind with a glass of wine. Overall a lovely property and we would happily stay again. Sue was great communicator, a first class host.
