The National Trust, which manages Studland, is renowned for its long, sandy beaches, which offer watersports amenities and nearby riding stables on the shore during specific times of the year. There are a number of restaurants in the hamlet, such as The Bankes Arms or The Pig on the Beach next to South Beach, as well as the National Trust café on Knoll Beach.
