Stowaway - A Private Lakefront Experience With Over 100ft Of Shoreline!

Stowaway was a beautiful property with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. We were all impressed with how clean the house was upon arrival and thankful for the amenities provided (towels, linens, etc) that made packing so much easier. The kitchen was also well appointed with any cookware that we could have needed. The house fit our group of 5 perfectly and we all enjoyed turns in the kayaks and sitting on the deck each night to take in the beautiful sunsets!

This was a great tucked away spot behind a vineyard. It was cozy and great access to the lake. It was smack in the middle of many wineries and 15 minutes to watkins glen. There is no air conditioning but fans were supplied. It is supplied with well water. Bring your basic cooking supplies oil, butter and seasonings.

I booked this as a surprise for my mom’s 60th Birthday. We had so much fun swimming, hanging out by the fire and wine tasting. The property was secluded and quiet. Just what we wanted. We had a very enjoyable stay and wished we were there longer. I would rebook here again.

Amazing house which is well kept and clean. The steps to the beach and the house are steep but it’s worth it to have the views and be lakeside.

Beautiful property with Seneca Lake as your back door view to watch the sunrise and sunset. I don't believe the ad was clear on the fact that there is no working washer and dryer, tho there was a dryer but not in good condition at all. However, that didn't stop us from enjoying the home and property, but it would have been a really nice convenience. Overall, it's a cute rustic home great for a family getaway away from all noise and bustle of the usual close to town getaways we've done in the past. We had a wonderful time!

We had a fantastic time here. Perfect location to everything. Hiking, kayaking, wineries, restaurants. The only negative is the steep steps to the dock. Perfect for our family and adult children. Probably not suitable for young children. So much privacy and beautiful yard for fires and games. Thank you so much for your beautiful home. We loved it!

Beautiful location Great dock ( but there are lots of steep stairs to climb) Very clean New appliances with great selection of cooking utensils/ pots and pans Two kayaks and a paddle bird included. Tons of fire wood We spent four days here and it would have been perfect except that the WiFi is useless other then downloading a simple email. It was to slow to watch movies or stream music. Not the end of the world but if you don’t get cell reception and you are planning on doing any work from this location forget it. If you want to watch movies bring a DVD player. Other then that we had a fantastic time and would return in a heart beat.

My husband and I took a another couple with us for a long weekend here. We are in our 50's, they are in their 60's. The house was everything we had hoped it would be. Clean and bright and comfortable. It was easy to find with directions from the property manager, but like it recommends, you should have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The steps down to the lake are sturdy, but people with mobility issues would definitely have a problem getting down to the lake. We fished off of the dock, made a fire in the fire pit, and sat of the deck and enjoyed the stars. I brought extra towels but they ended up having plenty there for the 4 of us. They even had a small stockpile of necessities in case you forget something. We would come back here again. We recommend!
