Beautiful and comfortable house in a gorgeous location. Clean, spacious and cozy. Kate went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We will definitely book again.

Although the house is old, it has character. It is perfect for Norwich families. Not great for people with mobility issues as the stairs are very steep. There is enough room for everyone. Was disappointed we didn’t get the fresh eggs that others got, but the hosts are very sweet with great communication. We had everything we needed during our family weekend.

We really enjoyed our rustic stay at Kate’s Stonecutter’s Cottage. The location and neighborhood were beautiful, and the home had a nice layout that worked well for us. Kate was a wonderful host and very responsive with communication throughout our stay.As a note for future guests, the property is quite rustic, which means there are a lot of bugs, and while they’ve added mattress toppers, the beds are still quite firm. If you prefer very soft mattresses, just keep that in mind.Overall, we had a lovely stay and would recommend this cottage to others looking for a rustic experience in a beautiful setting.

Very quaint property, very country setting away from town. We didn’t spend much time there since it was a golf outing for 2 days. Comfortable for 3 guys.

Kate was very helpful and checking in on if we needed anything. Very accommodating. Left us 12 eggs from her farm on our arrival. They were delicious. Real homey feeling.

This cottage was perfect for our family stay! There are plenty of modern amenities, but the home retains so much of its historical charm. The hosts were AMAZING - very sweet and responsive!

I grew up in a house built in the early 1800’s This house had many of the same features I love the wide pine floors Fresh eggs awaited us on the counter . Due to the family commitments we didn’t spend much time in the place but it was comfortable

The house was very cute. The only thing is I wish there was a/c upstairs. We really enjoyed our stay. We also liked that the owner left us somefresh eggs (we did not get to eat them) but that was a nice gesture. We would stay again.

Was comfortable for our needs. I would suggest a dehumidifier as it was a little musty smelling and a new coffee maker.

We, in our sixties, and our Dad, in his late eighties, stayed here in May for a week. The hosts were fantastic. Even left us a dozen eggs from their farm plus a variety of beers ?. Downstairs has everything you need. Full kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom with shower. Screened in and 2nd open but covered porch were delightful. Kitchen has pots and pans, table settings, and appliances like dishwasher, toaster and drip coffee maker. You’ll need to bring your own spices. If planning to cook. Upstairs had 3 bedrooms plus a bathroom with just a bath (no shower). The beds we slept in were very comfortable and we appreciated the nice linens. The stairs going upstairs are VERY STEEP. We climbed them basically like a ladder. Being built in 1827, the house is not handicap accessible but an absolute treasure otherwise. We highly recommend!
