Stayed May 20, 2026Well appointed nicely light and airy property in a peaceful village, Rennington. In rolling pleasant countryside only 15 minutes drive from the attractive coastline round atmospheric Dunstanburgh castle. Other tourist attractions in easy reach. And good local walking. No shop or public transport in Rennington, it has a welcoming pub, providing meals.

Stayed Aug 17, 2025Stone cottage was nestled away in a beautiful village… just as described and exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully presented, clean, fresh and the ambience felt very welcoming. There was good parking and easy access to the property, with a separate secluded garden ideal for alfresco dining and an afternoon drink. Loved the log fire. The owners ensured that access information was sent well in advance of the arrival date and made email contact a couple of times from booking to arrival - this again was a lovely feature which made us feel special. On arrival there was a beautiful welcoming pack of food and treats … thoughtful and a lovely gesture. The location in Rennington was ideal for Alnwick Castle, Lindisfarne, Bamburgh castle and surrounding areas. We had the most amazing visit to this property and were very sad to leave. Would recommend and can’t wait to schedule in another visit. Thankyou Tony and Angela ❤️❤️

Stayed Sep 13, 2025Very comfortable cottage in an idyllic, peaceful village, which was a great location for sightseeing and very handy for the pub! We played three links golf courses, which were friendly and challenging in breezy conditions. Thanks to the hosts for their kind hospitality. Everything was perfect for a relaxing break near the coast. We hope to return.

Stayed Sep 16, 2024Wonderful cottage, warm and inviting. Provisions left by the owner were very much appreciated after a long drive and challenges with the hire car. We would highly recommend this property for anyone wishing for a peaceful spot in Northumberland .
