This cottage embodies peace by the sea. So cozy with everything you need for both work and play. Wifi was strong enough to have a couple of work from home days while being able to sit in the enclosed front porch watching the ocean. Living space was everything someone could want. Beautiful sitting area complete with comfortable chairs and binoculars to watch the sea birds, lovely sitting room with books to curl up and read, bedroom with fluffy bed, and a well-stocked kitchen with an array of cookware. Right down the street is the bike/walking path that makes travel to places like the Aquarium and Fisherman's Warf accessible by foot if you don't want to deal with vehicle stress. As an added bonus, there was a mini photo album showing the renovations of this historical building in the late 80s/mid 90s. Loved my stay and look forward to being able to stay again!

Our stay at Sea Foam cottage was excellent & relaxing!! It was perfectly located and close to the ocean and golf coarse. All the rooms were very clean and the kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pots and pans. Comfortable queen bed.We loved sitting on the front porch looking out the windows to the ocean. Our walks along the ocean were so relaxing! Walks to the restaurants and shops were very close too. We definitely will be returning to this lovely cottage. Charming historic home with super location. Walking distance to many restaurants, path along the bay. Lovely owner. Street was very quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely stay..

Lovely home and great location! We really enjoyed Pacific Grove. Only request would be to get rid of basic cable and exchange for a streaming service.

We enjoyed our stay for four nights. The location is wonderful with easy parking in front of the unit. The amenities are well thought thru. I really enjoyed seeing how the owners are updating the property, probably slowly but surely. My husband loved the front porch but struggled with the kitchen cabinets being so close to the floor. The bathroom really needs more towel bars and new towels. I can imagine staying here in warmer climate will be nice, using the rear yard as well. I love PG, all the fun shops and off the beaten path! Always a joy to visit!

This is a cozy cottage that is perfect for a couple. The house is very nicely appointed. Its got a great location close to lover's point and close to many dining options. We truly enjoyed our time here and we will probably rent it again in the near future.

The cottage is in such a great location to all that Pacific Grove has to offer. Being steps away from the water is just great. The cottage is just as described and is very clean, tidy, and quiet. It worked out really well for our stay & we’d definitely stay again.

The location of this cottage is absolutely perfect a view of the ocean from the front windows, a two minute walk to lovers point, the beach, walking trails, and just a short stroll to the sweet little town of Pacific Grove. There you can find stores, restaurants, coffee, shops, all of it…

Lovely, comfortable home in the perfect location in Pacific Grove. Walk to Lovers Point or walk to the restaurants and stores. Everything is close by and easily accessible. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is well-stocked, and the house has everything you'll need for a great stay. We loved it and hope to return.

Staying here was wonderful, everything was just right. The cottage was very welcoming, comfy bed, great sun porch with view of the ocean. The neighborhood was quiet and charming, we loved the walkability. Jill was quick to give excellent info on the neighborhood along with restaurant recommendations. We are looking forward to staying here again.

We loved this place! This cottage was perfect for our stay over thanksgiving. We even pre-ordered a holiday dinner from Whole Foods and had the coziest thanksgiving dinner together. We took walks along the ocean everyday. I enjoyed sitting on the front steps and reading while watching people walk by with the their dogs. Everyone was so friendly ! We would absolutely love to book this property again in the future!

This is a wonderful little cottage. Like the front enclosed porch which looks out on the ocean. Kitchen is well equipped and bright and cheery.

Great location.

We found Jill’s cottage to be charming, cosy and romantic and communication with Jill excellent. We were able to see Lover’s Cove from a front window and took late walks along the shore most evenings. Great location that is walking distance to most areas of interest in Pacific Grove. We brought bikes and kayaks, spent a week and seldom drove unless heading out of town.

Charming historic bungalow steps away from the ocean. Well appointed and very clean. Gracious host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved this little cottage. The bed was so cozy and the shower was excellent. The kitchen had everything you may need to make meals. The location was also perfect. Just steps away from the beach and just up the street from the cottage were so many restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location across street Lovers beach. Walking distance to everything. Charming bungalow early 1900 historic neighborhood. Red Roof Cafe amazing food. Old Fisherman Grotto be meal we had in years. 4 hour bike ride along coast and 17 mi drive, absolutely stunning!We will be back every year

This is a truly charming historic cottage in a beautiful location. It is just about perfect, without a doubt one our best rentals ever. We would love to stay here again.

It was above and beyond what we expected! The house is darling! Owner must b a decorator! So many adorable touches! Felt like we were definitely in someone’s very special home! Everything is fresh and clean and coordinated! Could seriously stay for a month! It is steps away from the Pacific Ocean. We walked everywhere! Golf course is around the corner. Great grocery stores within walking distance. We cooked all our meals n the adorable kitchen. They have everything u need! Hot water was plentiful! Water pressure was great! Nice n every category!!

Another wonderful stay

We travel to Pacific Grove semi-regularly and really like the area where this property is located. Short walk down to the coastal path or up to the local restaurants and coffee shops. Super quiet at night even on a holiday weekend. Decor and furnishings blend well with this early 20th century cottage. Comfortable bed and spacious kitchen-dining area that is well appointed. Plenty of places to store your travel necessities. The host was very responsive and answered all of our questions both before arrival and on departure.

Absolutely EXCEPTIONAL home to stay!!! Super clean - easy parking and check in/out. We fell in love with the neighborhood too. Only a few steps to gorgeous Lover's Point and bike/walk path along the ocean with otters, seals, and so much more. Just up the road a bit...couple of easy blocks, there are so many wonderful restaurants and stores in PG. We stayed for a week and loved every moment...comfy bed and furnishings - everything you could want. Thanks for so much welcoming us into your wonderful home, Jill.

The Sea Foam Cottage is a delightful and cozy retreat. Jill has gone the extra mile to make it welcoming and comfortable. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to Lover’s point and all that Lighthouse Ave has to offer.

Great location. Each morning walk reveiled 3 or 4 sea otters and some sufers off the point.

The location was perfect for our visit to Pacific Grove. If traveling to that area again, we hope to find the cottage available. It was a great space to call home for our week in the area.

Wonderful historic cottage which is a thoughtful combination of old charm and modern amenities. Perfectly located steps from Lovers Point which is an end point of the Monterey Coast Bike/walk trail. You will love your stay!!!

I would stay there again

First and foremost, you have a wonderful cottage. It was clean, well appointed and close to the water. We had a delightful stay and if we are able to return, this will be our first choice. So, what follows are NOT criticisms, but rather suggestions that might make it even better. We sincerely hope that you will see them in that light. - I tried to take a bath but found I could not make water hot enough that may well be just me. In any case we tried to heat water on stove. It took longer than expected to get burner to ignite - which it did. In the process there was a significant gas smell. It worried me enough that I looked for a gas shut off in the gas line generally behind stove. There is none and this doesn’t seem wise. - a grab bar across from toilet would be greatly beneficial to those less mobile. - like me. - tried to take out garbage per your request. Assumed I should take across street like others we saw, since there were none on our side. They were still full Wednesday night. Will check again in morning before we leave. Better instructions might help. (As of Thursday morning still not emptied so I returned them to house side) - there are pads on each stair coming in, some which are not attached. I lost balance once when pad slipped away. - refrigerator instructions little confusing. Were we supposed to shut it off and then leave door ajar after wiping down door seal? Or not shut it off? Was that sign meant for refrigerator? I do hope these comments wi

Overall a really great place to stay! Lots of things to do and places to see :) The VRBO was clean and we had no issues with the check-in/out process.

The location of the cottage is fantastic. It's just around the corner from the beach. The check in and check out process is very simple. The property was very clean. The owner is very easy to get in touch with by text. The unit is very comfortable. I loved having an eat-in kitchen and that great old gas stove to cook with.

The Sea Foam Cottage was as described and it was cozy for the two of us. It's very convenient for walks or jogging along the beautiful Pacific Grove coastline and just a few blocks from many of downtown PGs places to eat.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this adorable cottage. Everything was perfect. The owner has thought of everything to make it full of comfort and stocked full of amenities. The location could not have been any better. Walking distance to the beach, stores, restaurants and easy street parking right in front of the house. Pacific Grove is an amazing town and we will be back again next year to enjoy this beach cottage gem.
