We have stayed in this charming little cottage on several occasions and, as always, everything was perfect. Close to everything, walkable to the arts precinct and the CBD, comfortable amenities and wonderful hosts. We look forward to returning !

Lovely cottage with a beautiful backyard and outdoor garden to enjoy.We stayed there for 3 nights and had the most wonderful sleep on very comfortable beds. My elderly parents were impressed with the warm welcome of breakfast provisions, fresh flowers and the delicious muffins. We highly recommend this beautiful cottage if you’re visiting Bendigo.

This is the second time we have been here in 10 years and the standard has never been less than superb. Comfort plus and the the small things - fresh fruit and cupboard full of staples, make this property the “go to” site in Bendigo for those seeking old world charm, comfort, location and hospitality.

Julie and Gary were always very responsive, nothing was a problem, the cottage had central heating and cooling, 2 bathrooms and lovely cosy bedrooms and sitting areas, both inside and outside. The thoughtful touches were an extra special bonus, light breakfast supplied and some cakes upon our arrival We felt so at home here.Easy walk to town centre, Gallery, places of interest, cafes and restaurants. The only time we used the car was to take a drive to Castlemaine.Thankyou we loved it

We had a wonderful stay. The place had everything we needed and was so close to the gallery and restaurants. I loved the egg chair. We would definitely stay again.

We go to Bendigo every year for the Bendigo Chamber Music Festival and one of the best things about it is our little Rowan Cottage. It's so comfortable, has a delightful garden at the back, and there are always goodies on our arrival (e.g. a cake and/or a bowl of fresh strawberries). The hosts, Julie and Gary, are very friendly and communication is easy. Highly recommend !

Wow!! Julie and Greg are amazing hosts. Rowan cottage was the perfect place for our stay in beautiful Bendigo. The thought that went into making our stay special, was second to none!! From the welcome message, special breakfast items, water dispenser and especially the bathroom essentials. They had thought of everything!! The house was charming and so close to everything. The beds super comfy and the outdoor area so private and comfortable. The house was clean and welcoming, Julie and Greg thankyou for having us, communicating clearly with us and making Rowan Cottage a place we will return to.

Cosy Cottage, our second visit from Melbourne but this time utilising the train. Totally well appointed, perfectly located to access Art Gallery, Restaurants, Shops, Bars. The Cottage had so many extras in the Kitchen, Fridge and Pantry, Bathrooms amenities, quality and plentiful towels, plush comfortable bedding. Foxtel turned out very handy. The back courtyard was well utilised for afternoon drinks and the side veranda for Breakfast. We highly recommend this Cottage and Julie and Gary as Hosts.

My friend and I recently spent two nights at this property and were very happy with our stay. The cottage was beautifully warm and clean and a lovely continental breakfast was supplied as well as some additional treats and full use of a well stocked pantry. I had some interaction with the host and found her to be very considerate and understanding. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Whilst we were in Bendigo for a short time, it was a lovely little cottage to arrive at and stay for our trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. If staying for longer periods and wanting self contained it is the place to stay. Close to the Deborah Gold Mine, shops near by and easy to park the car up and walk every where if you want to.

Great cottage for all our needs ,during our stay. Nice and warm on these chilly Bendigo mornings. Great location and everything supplied for a very comfortable stay.
