Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Port Isaac is a real Cornish gem. The old settlement in the valley, formerly known for fishing, slate export, and smuggling, has remained almost untouched since the turn of the last century. With easy access to the village's numerous restaurants and stores, there are numerous modest character residences as well as larger cliff-top getaways to choose from.
As the tide goes out, the sandy harbour becomes a haven for rock pools.

What a perfect location for visiting Port Isaac and Tintagel and places in between. The Stable is a duplex accommodation but it’s perfect for privacy and quiet and, despite a family occupying the adjoining flat, we heard not a murmur. All the facilities were available for us to cook a simple dinner and we had a restful stay after many hours of hills and steps in the local villages. Chris and Liz are good communicators, access was easy and we were left to our own devices. We’d book again. A lovely spot.
