Squirrel Haven Cottage on Lake Norman

We needed a place to stay for a wedding nearby, and this suited our needs with a nice view. Check in was easy with no issues. Would definitely consider returning during the warmer months

Great spot. Perfect for what I was looking for. Planning another trip or 2 for fishing season.

Communicating with host and chevk on was easy. Lakeview was excellent and accessing the dock directly from the cottage was great.

Great spot on the water. Clean. Comfy. Super nice hosts with my requests. Wish I coulda stayed longer to fish! Beautiful area, also nice and secluded. Great kitchen.

I’ve stayed in vrbos and this was by far the best. Scott was amazing and we knew we could call him if we needed anything but we didn’t.

The dock on the lake had extremely a lot of goose and duck poop on it would not go on that dock horrible! Could not fish or swim off off it!!

The cottage was beautiful and very comfortable. We enjoyed Lake Norman and the private pier. My husband loves to fish. It was very clean and having a laundry is a nice feature. Beautiful screened in porch. Easy parking directly in front of the cottage.

The property was perfect! Very clean. Loved being able to do our laundry before returning home. The lake is beautiful and many places to eat nearby. Had a great trip!!!

Nice stay at the property. Beautiful property. Really enjoyed the view from the dock. If I had to change anything it would be to add on bedroom door for little more privacy feeling.

The cottage was perfect for our vacation. The pier was nice to seat out on and have a day or lay out and get some sun. It was quiet and cozy. I would recommend it to anyone. The house had pretty everything you needed.I would recommend Two trees tavern not that far from the cottage for good food and very friendly people!

Despite the heat and humidity, husband caught a few catfish, a bass, and some bluegills off the floating dock. The little home was perfect. Clean and tidy. A most comfy bed. Scott was helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Very clean and easy stay. Very nice for a couples getaway. The dock and lake were just gorgeous to hang out, tan, and swim in. Easy parking and check in/out. We had a blast for the price we paid and just enough privacy for the two of us! We had access to Roku tv as well to watch movies, full kitchen for cooking, and laundry. Loved it!

The property was located near alot of happenings . The area was quiet and so relaxing well respite from maddening crowd

We stayed three nights and it was perfect for us. Great location, quiet at night. Clean, safe what a find! Scott, Priscilla and Teddy took wonderful care of us! Even thought to give us flashlights for the possibility of a storm. We will definitely come back and I highly recommend!

I rented this for some family traveling from out of town and they absolutely loved everything about this place.

The cottage was everything it was represented to be. The host was very pleasant and eager to make out trip comfortable. The boat dock was a great place to relax and watch the boats and jet skis run up and down the lake.

My wife and I stayed the night here on our way down to Hilton Head Island. This was a great decision as everything met or exceeded our expectations. We appreciated the quiet area and the comfortable bed. We will stay here agin.

We really enjoyed our stay which was connected to the owners home like a inlaw suite. The owners were very nice. The suite was nice and beautifully decorated. THE FISHING WAS GREAT.

This was a nice peaceful getaway with a nice view of cranes in the day and moonlight glistening by night on the lake, with Lineburgers steak house close by! Everything was homey and cute and it was in a safe neighborhood with friendly neighbors and host.
