Spectacular Waterfront Cottage: Charming Getaway on The Sheepscot River

Beautiful view!! Clean! Walkable to Wiscasset.

Wonderful view, easy location, very clean. Easy in and out. I would have said excellent except the pull out couch mattress is very uncomfortable and it gets very bright in the living room in the morning without curtains. Kind of a small thing too, but there wasn’t enough TP, lol.

We enjoyed our stay here. The property, location, view were great. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is the listing advertised a washer/dryer but when we arrived, the instruction book told us we weren't allowed to use it.

This is a charming and convenient little house in a great location. Wonderful water view, clean and comfortable. Very close to Wiscasset, Boothbay, etc. Good communication with owner and everything nicely arranged. Appreciated dog friendly touches including bowls and bed!

Clean and comfortable cabin in beautiful locstion

We can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this cabin! It was right on the water with a beautiful view. The village is gorgeous, the pier is so fun to walk and be out on the water anytime you want. It was centrally located to everything that we wanted to see and everyone we wanted to visit. We will definitely be returning!

This cottage right by the water was such a lovely relaxing stay. The house was comfortable, the bathroom was spacious, and the couch was comfortable! It was easy to find the cottage, as it’s in a great location (relative to downtown). My only gripe is that I didn’t stay one day longer! I look forward to returning!

Lovely cabin, beautiful location!

Wow! What a view out the front window of the Sheepscot River, downtown Wiscasset and beautiful sunsets! Very serene. Nice neighborhood for walks with puppy dog. The cabin is a good size for two and has just about all the conveniences we needed. Only disapppintment was that we did not have access to the washer and dryer. Great place!

Great place if a little musty smelling but I chalk that up to sitting

We were delighted with Edgecomb cottage. The view across the river to Wiscasset and the bridge was beautiful. Everything you would need is there, kitchen, table,( with stellar view,) sofa, and outdoor seating. We loved it! The best part was our pet was able to share that with us!

We loved everything about this home. Just wished we could stay longer!

The village had very few occupants so we enjoyed the peace and quiet. I have watched this village over 60 years and finally was able to stay a few nights. We were not able to find a hairdryer so some bad hair days were present, otherwise a nice stay.
