The spacious 2BR Red Cottage was built as a fully detached in-law suite to the Main House (separate listing 4BR Norwich Historic Home) located in historic Bean Hill, Norwich Town. Set on 3.5 acres of land, these properties provide privacy while leaving room for plenty of activities, including an in-ground covered pool (shared between both listings), a basketball hoop, soccer, and exploring the land. The porch at the red cottage faces away from the main house and provides plenty of privacy.

Stayed Jul 20, 2024The house was as expected when we arrived. The neighbor house was occupied the first night and the renters were very nice. The pool was air temp which made it very enjoyable. The host responded to my questions quickly and we enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Jun 3, 2023We had a great time. Our new puppy loved walking the grounds (on leash inside and out). Very private and close to all we wanted to see...seaport, restaurants, casinos. Loved our stay there. Thanks for everything.

Stayed Apr 21, 2023We had an awesome stay at the red cottage. We didn’t use the pool, but looked like be fun on another trip. We travelled with our fur babies and the property was excellent for us to walk them around. We wouldn’t even known other renters in other homes nearby, everyone was respectful to themselves. Is close to both casinos. We got great coffee beans from Craftsman Cliffs Roasters. We saw shows at both casinos, and visited Mystic. Was a larger home then expected, great bedrooms, awesome kitchen and back deck. Love to visit again.

Stayed Aug 1, 2022Everything was perfect about our stay. Beautiful enormous property to walk around. The cottage had everything we needed. Our dog Zoey loved walking around the property. Definitely would book again!

Stayed Jul 12, 2022The cottage was nice and spacious. Although, the cottage is not equipped with central air conditioning. The two air conditioners in the bedrooms were not enough to cool down the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. We stayed with our dogs and they were constantly moving back and forth from the living room to the bedroom to fend off the heat.

Stayed Jun 24, 2022We had a lovely stay, and we were thoughtfully taken care of! The pool is shared with the other VRBO rental on the property, so you may or may not have it to yourself depending on the other renters. We stayed on a couple really hot (88°+) days and the pool felt great!

Stayed Apr 15, 2022It was a wonderful place to stay. I have allergies/ sensitivities and the house was so nice and clean. The kitchen was nice as we were able to cook a nice meal. We hope to come back and stay in the house again when we come to the area.

Stayed Apr 18, 2022Nice property. Seems it is still being worked on. Not the cottage we stayed in, but other cottage on property. Wish the pool was open for longer than 2 days before we arrived. Thought it was open year round.
