This fully furnished home features 3 Bedrooms, 1 downstairs and 2 upstairs with a full kitchen, dining room and living room. The coved ceilings and natural wood floors and staircase add to the appealing charm of this home. My home has brand new central a/c (installed 2016), newer furnace and water heater (installed 2011), and septic (2006). It has a suitably sized washer and dryer.

We had a wonderful week with the family! Close beaches and parks were an added bonus. Looking forward to staying again in the future!
Access to Lake Huron and surrounded by good neighbors.
Quiet and peaceful. Near the lake
My family of 4 adults had a splendid time hanging out in the house and walking to beach. Lake access only a block away and large state park beach and campground a short walk. Nice Neighbors and lots of birds. Rock collecting excellant
We enjoyed the 2 weeks stay. It was quiet, relaxing area to return to after a days work. We he house was clean and well supplied with the exception of certain paper supplies. The house is clean however we did find mouse droppings at the bottom level of one cupboard. All in all We would stay at this property again. Thank you
Cottage provided everything we needed for the duration of our stay. Great location; quiet neighborhood and relaxing feel of home. Close to lake, beach, restaurants and shopping. Communication with host was excellent Would consider staying at the cottage again.
This is our second stay here at James' cottage. We had a great stay. The house is well maintained and only had a minor issue with the roof. We really loved the proximity to the lake. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. The kitchen is nicely organized and stocked. The bedrooms were comfortable and the laundry room is great to have for a vacation. There is a lot around if you need a store or park. We'll be back!
My husband and I rented this cute home for 2 weeks and throughly enjoyed our stay! The neighbors were very friendly and the beach was great! The home is very comfortable and well equipped. A perfect place to relax!
The house was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. I had trouble with figuring out the TV system with my computer and the sound system, but that is mainly my own fault. I am technically challenged. The internet was very fast, we loved the layout of the house. Very cozy. I have a son with autism and usually has a hard time transitioning to new situations but being at this lovely house he transitioned pretty quickly to our vacation. It was very nice to be able to take our dogs on vacation with us.We would definitely stay there again.
I just got back from a weekend with my wife and our best friends and we loved the place. It's about 15 minutes south of Lexington and 20 minutes north of Port Huron, but it's super easy to get to either city. They have a ton of extra silverware, spices, etc. in their cupboards that will satisfy most of your needs. The fire pit on the side of the house was very nice for some late night drinks and smores. I had a few questions and James was always quick to respond and even suggested a few things to do. If you like wine, good views, or just relaxing, you need to go to 3 North Vines Winery in Lexington. Such a cool place! There are also a few local bars near the house that are pretty fun. The only thing I was disappointed in were the bikes. My wife and I wanted to ride them in the park and one bike had the seat broken and it was basically set up for a 6'5 person, another bike wasn't broken but wasn't suited for a normal sized person (I'm 5'10). and the third one was a low rider. However, this did not take away anything from our weekend. Overall great place that I'd recommend to others and hope to stay at again in the future!
