Ist class holiday cottage.Gell Cottage is very well equipped and set up, with everything we needed for our holiday. It proved to be the perfect base for us to explore North Wales, with all of the places we wanted to visit within easy reach. We would highly recommend Gell Cottage for couples and families of 4 people. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again.

Centrally located for Snowdonia, Harlech, Portmeirion even Caernarfon. Great beaches and walking on the doorstep. The cottage is immaculately clean, cosy and well equipped, all fitted out to a high standard. The gardens of the farm are absolutely beautiful and guests are welcome to stroll around. The chickens are extremely friendly as are the sheep! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Our week at the beginning of October in our favourite cottage in Snowdonia was cancelled due to local lockdown. We were very disappointed but after a very helpful lady called Nina helped me I managed to find the cancellation at Gell Cottage. When we arrived we were surprised that it was a lot bigger than it looked on the photographs. The whole place was immaculate and although my husband and I have been isolating since the beginning of the Covid situation I felt quite at ease when I realised how clean Gell Cottage was in every way. The bed was comfortable as was the leather sitting room furniture. All was very well equipped, kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of towels, tea towels and all the cleaning equipment in plentiful supply. I have arthritis and need a bath every day, the bath was perfect, deep and long enough. The heating worked well and I didn't need the throw I had taken just in case. As the cottage was next to the road we were worried it was going to be noisy, the walls are so thick that you couldn't hear the traffic which was light anyway. The gardens are lovely and we also walked in the fields owned by the property. Walks from the farm are glorious too. We can highly recommend Gell Cottage. A beautifully presented and brilliantly equipped (despite covid restrictions) cottage, it was lovely to stay here. The owners are onsite and very friendly. Located within 30 minutes of several castles, nice beaches and some great walking. It's a little further to the likes of Snowdon Mountain railway and Conwy. You do need to drive to get out to restaurants, it's at least a mile into the village. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Beautiful and peaceful cottage. Well maintained, helpful owners and nice gardens. 1 mile from Criccieth, where there are 2 family friendly beaches, good food options and a panoramic castle. 30 mins drive from Harlech, Snowdon and Caernarfon. Nearer to Portmeirion, Porthmadog and the picturesque Llyn Peninsula. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
