Great place for a family get away, great location.

The hosts were very responsive and the property was beautiful! There were many amenities available and the place was plenty big enough for four adults.

Great location with plenty of amenities. Beautiful views throughout—especially from the dining room. We loved the fireplace in the living room; it made the space feel cozy and inviting.

Juniper Cottage was perfect for our winter holiday getaway. It was well appointed and had everything we needed. The picture window offered a lovely view of evergreen trees covered in snow, while inside we stayed warm and cozy. We enjoyed cross-country skiing at Mt. Van Hoevenberg, and the town of Lake Placid is charming, with plenty of shops and restaurants. Eric was very responsive to our questions, and the logistics were straightforward and easy.

Juniper cottage was amazing. Clean, cozy & well stocked. We had a wonderful weekend with our 3 kids & our parents. We really enjoyed the fire place, outdoor fire pit & all of the screened in porches! We made some amazing memories & hope we can make this our annual spot to stay!

Plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms, beautifully peaceful neighborhood walking distance to main Lake Placid restaurants/bars/activities.

It's tucked away and quiet with big windows overlooking a wooded area. We were able to bike or walk into town. Inside, each bedroom has it's own bathroom. That was a deal-breaker.

Everything about this place is perfect. We came to town for a weekend ADK golf trip and this location was in perfect proximity to both courses we played. The owners thought of everything to make staying here pleasant and easy. The property was clean upon arrival, easy to get to and there was even ample firewood for our use at the outdoor firepit. The dining room table was a nice touch as it had enough chairs for all 8 of us. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was amazing! Would highly recommend this location!!!

We loved the Juniper cottage - it’s beautiful and as others remarked it’s nestled in the woods and feels very private but is close to everything you need.

Great location! Minutes from Mirror Lake and Main Street. Love having a private bathroom for all four rooms.

Always love being in LP in any season and especially the week of the 4th of July. Anything goes weather wise and we saw it all. The house was awesome. Loved being in the particular part of LP that it is located in as we’ve actually never planted ourselves there. The peace and quiet was delightful and close enough to everything if you want to take a dip, hit the links, jump on a bike, hike or walk to town. Best of everything!

We had such an amazing weekend at the Juniper! It was a beautiful property. Exactly as advertised… great response from the owner and we lucked out having 20” of snow during our stay. It was so cozy, warm and inviting…

Loved the quiet location off of miracle lake drive, zero traffic, spacious home with everything our team needed. Hosts were terrific as well.

When we booked this stay we filtered our possible choices based on which places had hot tubs. Our options were this home and 2 others. We chose this one because the listing pointed out that it was a short walk to the village. Unfortunately both things were false. There was no hot tub and walking to where the food and shops are would take 25 minutes. In the winter this is not a nice walk. It’s cold, uneven and at night the roads are not lit. It is too dangerous to walk. When we got to the house and realized there was no hot tub we checked the listing and it appears they have removed the hot tub from the listing. There is other reviews stating that the house was advertised as having one, the host responded saying that there never was and VRBO was designating their jet tub as a hot tub. I just wish we were notified after booking that there was no hot tub and allowed to cancel our booking because we would have. The house itself was beautiful. Very cozy and had all the essentials. If you aren’t looking for a place with a hot tub or counting on an easy walk to the village this place isperfect. Only complaint about the inside is the beds are creaky.

The location was secluded enough we didn’t see anyone around the house, but getting to and from town was easy. Would gladly stay again!

Lovely house, with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Individual thermostats in each room. Overall a quiet, relaxing long weekend.

I highly recommend this property and really have no complaints. Everything went smooth from checking in to checking out. The cleanliness and attention to detail was fabulous. Really is a gorgeous property and a great place for a family reunion.

This is a quaint little cabin. Nestled back in the woods. Perfect location for mirror Lake activities. Very close to Lake Placid. Easy walk to anything that you want to do in the town. Super comfortable for our family of seven. We would definitely stay here again on return trips to Lake Placid. Loved it!

Beautiful house. Everything was perfect!!!

This was our fourth time staying at Juniper and it was another great experience. The location is perfect for us, nestled in the woods, but walking distance to town and Mirror Lake. Our four yr old son loves staying at “The Bear House” (his name for it because of the bear in dining area). We look forward to returning next year!
