Shell Cottage is situated towards the top end of Anna Maria Island. It is one of a cluster of the 3 cottages sharing the free form pool with waterfall (at most there would be 8 people using the pool).
The cottage is extremely well furnished and equipped with everything we hope you would need to enjoy the perfect holiday. The bedroom has a Queen bed and the bathroom is fitted with a bath with overhead shower, basin and WC.

Stayed Apr 27, 2021This cottage was very cozy and quiet. It was very close to a trolley stop so I didn't have to rent a car or golf cart. The beach was super close and wasn't crowded since there is no public parking. I met Julie when she was wiping down the patio furniture and she was super nice!!

Stayed Feb 28, 2026The location of Shell Cottage is exceptional. Such an easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Unfortunately there is construction surrounding the cottage and because of the noise the pool was not a relaxing place to be during the day. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Stayed Mar 15, 2026Perfect location! Steps from the beach. And walking distance to both Pine Street and Gulf Drive for shopping and restaurants.We were checking in the Sunday of the St. Patrick’s Day parade and I was very concerned about getting to the unit with the parade happening. I texted Debbi and she immediately got back to me and let me know as soon as the unit was ready so we could get in before the parade started. She was awesome.

Stayed Nov 12, 2025The cottage was perfect. Clean. Comfortable. Beautiful pool. A 30 second walk to the most beautiful beach. Walkable to shop, cafes, bakeries. At the north end of the island so it’s quiet and private. Will definitely return.

Stayed Jun 3, 2025There were a few quirky things. Could not put the AC higher than 75 or it would freeze up the AC.We were only allowed 1 roll of TP we had to buy our own. And it said cookware is provided…1 small 6-8 inch skillet was supplied. And 1 small sauce pan. Everything else was fine.

Stayed Mar 19, 2025Shell Cottage was cute as can be . It was very clean , beautifully decorated and well equipped. However; there is an alarm on the entry door that is ear shattering. The check-in information states it is part of the rental license rules which I understand. There was no grey box on the outside of the door which can be pressed to allow entry within 45 seconds before the alarm goes off. There was a button on the inside that allowed us to leave the cottage.. I’m not sure I would stay here again because of this issue. Our neighbor was startled awake every evening we came in after 10pm.
