Shaw Creek Cottage w/ Fire Pit & Forest Views

This cottage was perfect! It was so nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen and deck were great. The owners were next door which made it easy to get little things addressed. We know we’ll be trying to stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay and a beautiful property. Ty and Diane are amazing hosts. I loved the cottage. It was beautiful and so clean and really close to Hendersonville. Highly recommend for a wonderful getaway.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this charming cottage in Hendersonville. Nestled beside a peaceful little creek and surrounded by nature, it was the perfect escape for our family of five. Our three kids were instantly enchanted—spending their days playing in the creek, skipping stones, and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit.The cottage itself was spotless and cozy. Every detail, specially the home made cookies at our arrival, made us feel right at home.What made the experience even more confortable were the hosts, who live in the house next door. They were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always willing to help if we needed anything, while still giving us total privacy. If you're looking for a peaceful, family-friendly retreat with natural charm and genuinely wonderful hosts, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful and quiet. Hosts close but never overstepped

This little cottage has everything you might need or want for a perfect getaway. It is beautifully decorated and the host is creative and responsive. The deck and view are wonderful, looking down on a babbling brook and out into the forest. It’s far enough away to let you feel remote, but close enough to a downtown area so you can still feel connected. We will definitely consider this charming spot for another vacation.

The cottage was everything as advertised. We had all the things we needed for our short start. Beautiful and peaceful setting! Would highly recommend.

We really liked the colorful decor and the comforts of home. The peaceful and beautiful creek were the icing on the cake.The only thing I would recommend would be to have doors (versus curtains) for each bedroom for privacy and to minimize sounds in the kitchen and/or living room.

We had a lovely time staying in this charming mountain cabin. Everything we needed was provided with lots of extra perks. The entire place was cozy, clean and brightly decorated. It was a joy to be in each space of the cabin. We loved sitting on the side porch, listening to the stream, and enjoyed the birds, bunnies and chipmunk that came to visit! We also enjoyed a meal at the picnic table under the shelter that was down beside the stream - so relaxing and peaceful. The beds were very comfortable, and communication with the host couldn't have been easier. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. We left feeling refreshed at the end of our stay. Loved it!!

The house is in a great location, close to many different hiking trails. I love the stream that runs along the back of the house, which you can hear from the back deck. The fire pit and shelter are a nice added feature. Going down to the shelter and fire pit is steep, so be careful with little kids or anyone with issues walking. The house is small, but enough room for 2-3 people. We had no issue with the shared bathroom, but the shower is small and may not be comfortable for larger individuals. The owners live next door with their adorable pup. They were very nice & were responsive to texts. The only thing I didn’t care for was i felt there was a lack of privacy on the deck due to the view of the owner’s house. Some sort of privacy screen along that side would be nice.
