    Just returned from a delightful weekend away with two school friends at Shakespeare Cottage. Check in was easy and we parked in a nearby carpark which had plenty of spaces. We were charmed by the terraced house with its wooden and flagstone flooring and very tasteful decor complete with White Company bedding. All the bedrooms are a good size and having two bathrooms made things easy. We had a great time experiencing Stratford upon Avon: Parkrun on Saturday morning; cinema at the amazing Everyman in the evening; a Ghosts, Gore and Folklore tour of the RSC; bargain hunting in the charity shops; and a delicious Sunday Roast in the pub at the end of the road.

    This was our second stay at Shakespeare Cottage. Once again it was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable, bedding and towels high quality. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. The cottage is very convenient, with theatres, restaurants, cafes within easy walking distance. One small quibble and that is that the kitchen could do with a new set of sharp knives. Highly recommended. We look forward to our next stay.

    We had a lovely stay at Shakespeare Cottage, great location, close to town so didn’t need the car, just a shame there is no parking. We definitely book again and recommend it.

    We had a fantastic stay in Shakespeare cottage, everything was ideal. The location is great, everything is within walking distance and there is buses nearby to visit further away attractions like castles. The comfort of beds, sofa and armchairs really allows some relaxing time, with a colourful and elegant decoration. Cleanliness is spot on, as well as the equipment and space, ideal for 6 people. I just can't find anything negative to say about this place, it was perfect ! A really good value for money too. Thank you very much

    Shakespeare Cottage is a beautiful house. It was perfect for our weekend getaway to Stratford. Wonderfully comfortable beds, relaxing sitting room and a well equipped kitchen. Great for self-catering and within a short walk of some lovely places to eat. Perfect!

    Shakespeare Cottage is excellent in all ways. Clean and comfortable with everything you could want for the ideal stay. The owners and Sharon, the housekeeper, have thought of everything and utilised the space in the best possible way. It was great for four of us but might be a bit of a squeeze for six. Having said that, I would highly recommend this property. The location is perfect for all Stratford’s attractions.

    We enjoyed our stay at Shakespeare Cottage. Very nice, clean and comfortable. There were a few things missing that would have made the stay perfect such as tissues, toiletries (there were very little provided given the number of people and days of the booking) but this is minor, we were able to source them from nearby supermarkets.
