Loved staying here!!! Beautiful area and yard, love being right by the river. Close to several tourist type activities, hiking, fishing, etc. Had everything we needed and then some.

We had a great stay. Enjoyed the landscaping and original art work. Would love to go back.

This cottage was a quiet and peaceful spot right next to a beautiful river. It is an easy 40 minute access to Seward. The cottage was well equipped and the owners made us feel very welcome. It was a wonderful stay for our first time in Alaska.

Nice house, about 20-25 minutes from Seward. Everything went well but I didn’t receive check in instructions, I had ask for them

This place was beautiful, clean and amazing. Beds were so comfortable. Slept all night would definitely stay again. Everything we needed and more thank you.

The cabin was so nice! The beds were comfortable and it was super clean. It did not have a living area which I was expecting. And the WiFi wasn’t reliable. The wrap around porch was lovely and it was situated next to the river and there were lots of birds. The location was wonderful, about 30 minutes north of Seward. The eat in kitchen worked for us, but it was small and there wasn’t much room for food prep. No stovetop but there was a heating element for pots and a microwave.

The property is located on a beautiful River. We enjoyed watching the birds at the bird feeder. On our departure we saw a moose in the river like other visitors have seen. Everything was great. Three bathrooms was a plus. One minor issue that I just couldn’t solve….the WiFi worked on two Apple devices but none of the android devices. Obviously it was working for Apple devices so not the host’s issue. Thank you for your hospitality.

Very well maintained home with a great view! Perfect for 3 couples traveling together. The owner was extremely responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location and very well maintained.

Comfortable and cozy place with everything we needed. The river view was beautiful. We saw eagles flying down the river as wewere enjoying breakfast.Great location...close to many great hikes.

This place was comfortable. It has three bedrooms with their own bathrooms. No living room area so we had to sit around at the kitchen table after our day out. Also there really was no access to the water for fishing which is the only reason I rented this place. Even though they couldn't fish my husband said this was his favorite place. We did enjoy a fire at the fire pit.

We stayed here in July. We had a family of six and it was ample room for everybody. The view is amazing. Our kids enjoyed the setting immensely and couldn’t stop talking about it. Everyone enjoyed the setting, and visit.

Our family enjoyed the rural setting, three rooms with individual bathrooms and grilling out on the deck. We even saw moose cross the river!

Nice scenic home on the river. Rustic ambiance for those wanting to enjoy the beautiful vistas without distraction. Host was on site and helpful.

The photos don’t do this justice. It’s beautifully located on the river bank. Very peaceful with a short drive to Seward town.The property was really clean and comfortable.It was lovely to light the fire pit in the evening and cook jacket potatoes and steaks…

Clean cabin with plenty of beds and bathrooms with great outdoor space along the river. The only down side was a lack of indoor living area, as the eat-in kitchen was the only indoor common space. Hosts were friendly and generous, sharing staples, offering bear spray and lots of board games & books. Location is convenient to Seward and local attractions.

We had a great stay at Russ's place located on a beautiful river about a half hour outside Seward. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Although there is no stove (we knew that from the listing), we figured out the hot plate and it was fine for our purposes of cooking breakfast. The rest of the kitchen was well equipped. Russ was very communicative and very nicely agreed to send an item that we accidentally left in one of the rooms. We loved our time there!

We stayed two nights at the property and enjoyed it very much. The three bedrooms worked perfectly for us and our two adult children. The location was amazing - right on the Trail River. We enjoyed waking up on the river, and on the second morning, saw a bald eagle flying over the river.

We felt so comfortable and at home here, and it was perfect for our stay. The location is so beautiful, and we didn’t even have clear weather! It is cozy, charming, and comfortable, ands our entire family enjoyed our stay.

We loved this place!The only suggestion I would make is an electric skillet, since there is no inside cooktop.

This home is located with a nice view of the river about 75yds away. We had campfires near the river with suppled wood. Cooked on the grill and hot plate (note there is no stove). The manager lives next door and checked on us to make sure all was ok. Wish our stay was longer!

**Peaceful River Retreat – Perfect Getaway!**We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO! The home is nestled right along the river, offering beautiful views and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. It was exactly the relaxing escape we were looking for. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and feel comfortable, both indoors and out. The house was clean, well-equipped, and felt very welcoming. We especially loved sitting outside in the mornings and evenings, listening to the water and enjoying the natural surroundings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a calm, scenic place to unwind!

The quiet location with windows and a deck overlooking the river offered great views and wildlife viewing. The owner, Russ, was very hospitable and provided helpful information about the area. Definitely would stay here again.A great beginning to our Alaska experience!
