Serenity - our peaceful beach cottage

Beautiful spotless house in a great location close to shops, beach, river and golf course. Rod and Lyn are lovely hosts.

Our stay at Serenity was absolutely wonderful.The house was impeccably presented and exuded a touch of luxury that made us feel both welcomed and at home.Honestly, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Lyn’s hospitality as a host was truly exceptional, and we can't thank her enough for going above and beyond to make our stay memorable.Every aspect of the cottage was taken care of with such meticulous attention to detail - from the cleanliness and décor to the linen, backyard, BBQ, beach equipment, and coffee machine. This list could go on and on! Being able to take advantage of this cottage simply complimented our beach getaway.Perfect location - Walking distance to cafes and the golf club. Minutes to multiple beautiful beaches. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and acknowledges the amazing hospitality Lyn provided.Again we thank you Lyn. P.S. We’ll definitely be back :)

Our return to Serenity was even better than we’d remembered. Perfect family getaway at this gorgeous home away from home, with so many thoughtful touches. Amazing hosts too. We will be back soon!

This house oozes luxury and style. From the home decor to the bed linen to the champagne and chocolates as a welcome gift. The beautiful and stunning gardens makes this stazy accommodation a must do. Lyn was the perfect host with amazing ommunication. This accommodation is 5 stars.

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend stay at the beautiful Serenity cottage in Hawks Nest. Lyn was so lovely to correspond with and kindly offered both early check in and late check out. We arrived to a delicious selection of cheese and crackers, bubbly, eggs, milk, granola, yummy chocolates, fresh coffee and fresh fruit for breakfast juicing, plus a generously stocked pantry too! We cooked fresh local fish and veggies on the bbq. The huge outside seating area overlooks a beautiful private sunny garden. Serenity cottage was a perfect stay for us, beautifully styled, immaculately clean and super cosy and warm even during a sunny but chilly weekend and probably has the best stocked holiday cottage we have ever stayed in, Lyn has simply thought of everything you could possibly need to make the stay perfect! Very comfy beds too with gorgeous sheridan linen and plenty of extra snuggly blankets if needed. We could highly recommend a stay at Serenity cottage for a peaceful, relaxing, luxury stay. What an absolute find this property was. Exceptionally presented. Very stylish furnishings. A well stocked kitchen. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Nice little touches here and there made it feel like home. I would definitely recommend ‘Serenity’ to family and friends.

What a beautiful place to stay. We usually stay on the beach when we go to Hawks Nest but this place is so lovely and serene and only 1 minute drive to the beach (which is actually easier than walking across the road to the beach with all the gear). The house had everything we needed and even more - the amenities the host included were so generous and thoughtful. Would definitely stay here again - such a beautiful house, everything seemed new. Linens were country road and Sheridan, and the beds were so soft. It was like a luxury hotel stay, but at Hawks Nest. The deck out the back was perfect for relaxing with a drink, and our toddler absolutely loved the house and the large, flat backyard for playing in.

there is nothing to fault at this property - a lot of thought has gone into the set up of the home with everything considered. The hosts were easy to liaise with. Plenty of room, plenty of little extras that made the stay extra special. Would suit family or a group of couples. Would highly recommend and close to beach and shops.
