Serenity Grove - Nevedillo

The cottage was a perfect place to relax and have a break from the city, it was a great getaway and surrounded by nature and lots of wildlife. Ken was very accommodating and friendly, we had a great time!

Quite place. Sightings of kangaroos and cows. Low mobile network and no wifi are only 2 downsides.

Ken's property is absolutely stunning. First of all the land itself is quite large, with the cottages you can hire (there are two) about a minute drive from the first gate you enter from. The cottage we stayed in was extremely clean and had a very homey feel to it. 3 bedrooms, beds were all comfy, 2 bathrooms (both with showers), a large couch which is a sofa bed and a large dining table perfect for larger groups. There is a patio with two out door tables, which were lovely to sit from in the morning, we even saw kangaroos hopping in the distance! Separate to the cottage is a great outdoor space which is covered, has power outlets, a sink, ping pong table & two full size dining tables. This space was one of the highlights for us, as we were able to hang out and play games from here into the evening, while not disturbing others from our group who may have wanted to go to bed a bit earlier in the evening. The property is about a 20 minute drive from Singleton, where we did much of our shopping. There's a big mall with all the usual shops you would expect, grocery stores, Big W, Bottle Shop, fast food and other food options. It's also within a short distance from many gorgeous wineries! There are brochures at the cottage with a map of the area and many fun things to do in the area. This was super helpful to us as we had never visited the area before. Just a note, for those visiting who may require internet, our phone reception was ok (about 2-3 bars), however for all of us, we did not have mobile data reception and there is no wifi at the cottage. However, we all quite liked the few days break from the internet! Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Ken's property is perfect for anyone looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle. We are a group of 7 with 2 kids under 12 and a teenager. We stay out at similar properties every term break..think it is at least 50% overpriced.

clean tidy and warm even in the really cold weather

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Serenity Grove. It was away from roads and had a very peaceful outlook. Kangaroos were bouncing past regularly. Great trail walks just behind us. Ken made sure we had everything that we needed. We could not ask for anything more.
