The unit is the perfect size for 2, 3, or 4 people. It is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The bathroom is small, which did not bother us (the shower is very clean and roomy, the other fixtures are just very close together), but might be an issue for some. The kitchen has all the essentials. The location is great -- we were able to walk to lots of places, and the beach is just across the street, another easy walk. The owners/management are responsive and pleasant. We would come back.

This a good location and a good value. The proximity to the road made it a bit noisy at times, but not a big negative. Overall, the property was well appointed and we would stay there again.

Better than pictured, ideal location and great hospitality and service from Patrick! Drove in from Chicago and arrived a little early. Patrick was able to accommodate an earlier check-in and was a pleasure to deal with throughout our trip. There were a few paddleboards available for his guests, WiFi, cable TV and Patrick even gave us a few generous vouchers to his family's restaurants. The unit we stayed in was very nicely remodeled with beach motif, clean, fully furnished, AC blew very cold, was located right in the center of the OBX, a 2 minute walk from the beach access points and offered great privacy/relaxation. ...not to mention MUCH roomier and less expensive than a hotel room. Wasn't sure what to expect before arriving, but our expectations were exceeded and we'd definitely make a reservation with Patrick again for future trips. I definitely recommend booking this unit and avoiding the overpriced corporate hotels!

My family of four enjoyed this location. Enjoyed our morning coffee out on the deck, loved the location with the proximity of the ocean and the dunes restaurant, and enough space for us. We would stay there again.

Clean, comfortable basic Nags Head experience. Good location, central to area attractions. Very efficient communication with host (Who was gracious enough to allow early check-in.) Recommended.

Loved this property. It was in the perfect location and just what you would expect of a beach cottage type home. It had all of the supplies that were needed, including linens. We had to contact the host because of an internet problem, and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. If I were to go back to Nags Head, I would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful place to come back to and relax on the porch after venturing out for the day.

Can see the ocean but you really need to walk about 3 min to experience it. The bathroom is tight but the shower is excellent. We had so so weather but truly enjoyed our stay. Patrick was terrific!

There was a beach view with a very short walk to the beach. You could walk to many restaurants and shops too. The place was very clean and the pictures online were accurate. Perfect stay for my daughter and I!

It was a nice stay with the Dunes restaurant in the back. The food was awesome as well as the staff. Getting to the beach was a quick short walk, which was nice, it’s close to a shopping mall as well as Jeanette’s pier.We would definitely stay again.Communicating with Patrick was easy and he responded real quick, basically just check in and check out information. We had no problems with the property at all.

Cute place for small family. Love the location to the pier, great restaurants, Jockey’s Ridge, and much more. Patrick was very responsive and great to work with before and during our visit.

Kitchen supplies very minimal. Can opener didn’t work no scissors no sharp knives to cut any thing. Definitely need more coffee, mugs, and throw blankets or extra blankets for the beds. The only other thing that I thought was misrepresented was the laundry. The laundry room, outback, needing coins, and was very sketchy and scary in there for a single woman when no one‘s around!

This was a girls trip to the Outer Banks. We loved the location with public beach access very close. Patrick was a wonderful host; responding promptly our first night when we could not unlock the door. We also highly recommend the Dune restaurant owned by the family for 40 years. Would definitely rent again!

Our stay here was brief, but the owner made sure we had everything we needed. Even dropped off a new coffee maker!

Patrick was great—responded right away when we had questions. The duplex was bright and comfortable and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. Our main recommendation: install a towel bar and a hand towel ring in the bathroom. (The adjoining unit had them.) Hooks by the door for jackets would be nice too. We had a great time.

My daughter, niece and I stayed for two nights. What a cute space. Plenty of seating to be in the living room. Bedrooms were quaint. Loved looking out the front and seeing the water. The walk to the beach was easy and quick. Patrick was very responsive to my texts and very pleasant. Would recommend for no more than 4 people based on size. Recommend.

I loved the quaint decor, there was plenty of room for us, and being so close to the beach was a huge plus!
