Secluded Wooded Setting 5 Minutes From Town

Creekside Cottage is a quiet, private gem nestled in the Appalachian foothills in a wooded country setting, yet only a 5 minute drive to Ohio University. It has a fully equipped kitchen, large deck with porch swing and outdoor furniture, fire pit, and hot tub. Bedrooms (one with a full bed, one with two twins, one with one twin bed) are equipped with quality mattresses and classic bedding. All linens are provided. Tastefully decorated, you'll find an extensive library of classic novels, historical biographies, photo illustrations, etc. AC and furnace will keep you comfortable no matter the season. Hot tub for relaxing at night and watching stars, or for that first cup of coffee in the morning. We think the surrounding beauty and nature's songs will take guests away from a hectic world for a short time. Cable and Wi-Fi are available. Cell phone reception varies; most guests find they can get an adequate signal.
Experience a historical college town and all it has to offer, and return to peaceful solitude, a comfortable bed, sounds of nature, and the simple comfort of a good nights sleep. Travelers will find this a delight!
Pets are welcome with a $25 fee. UNDISCLOSED PETS WILL INCUR A $100 FEE PER PET, PER NIGHT.

Check-in time is 3 PM, checkout is noon. Special event weekends have a higher base rate. Parking is about 80 feet from the cottage, near the road; it is not possible to pull right up to the cottage. The parking area is also separated from the cottage by a wooden privacy fence. You must climb a few stairs to reach the front door, which is accessed from the deck.
Cellular signal is weak at the cottage but functional.
