The house was perfect size for two in a quite hilltop community. Had a great time exploring the small towns around Asheville this time . Loved Black Mountain, Brevard and Chimney Rock. Saw a bunch of white squirrels in the area also . Learned that 20% of the squirrels in the area are white. Would recommend this house and area to anyone
Neighborhood was not what we expected but we rarely saw anybody. Bed was super comfortable. Close proximity to everything we had planned. Clean with everything we needed.
We were in town to drop my daughter at semester school - it was a perfect place. Clean nice and great logistics
The house is exactly as described, well-furnished and comfortably furnished. The only concern was inability to contact the property manager using the information provided: Had we encountered problems with the rentail (which we didn't), we were concerned that we would have been left on our own to resolved them.
My family and I both remarked all weekend about how clean the entire house was. Check in/check out was simple. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood but we never felt bothered by anyone or like we were intruding. In fact, we only saw one other person the whole time we were there. We really enjoyed the view of the trees while relaxing on the back porch. It’s a quick trip to Brevard for local dining/shops and lots of nearby access to beautiful hikes and waterfalls!
Fantastic location and adorable place. This is the second time we stayed at this property. We really love it.
All the comforts of home set in a natural environment surrounded by serenity and warmth.
We really enjoyed our stay here, it was perfect for our spring mountain bike trip to the area.
Cheerful in the woods. Cozy but comfortable. There were a couple of small things missing, i.e., soap in the bathroom, laundry detergent rather than an empty bottle and a bedside table. But otherwise, all good.
Beautiful location and accommodations
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here, it was perfect for a spring mountain bike trip. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting on the after a long day of riding
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, semi-secluded home. Well-appointed, just the right size for our family (two adults and teenager). Beautiful backyard/deck area. Lots of trees and mature landscaping. Had all we needed to cook at home. Great nearby waterfall trails. And just about 45 mins to Asheville. Also very friendly and responsive property manager. We would definitely recommend this lovely vrbo!
We have a home in Asheville and it was rented and we couldn't stay there so we picked this property for our weekend trip. Easy to find, very clean, exactly as described. We enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend it.
Modern and very clean, nicely decorated. We enjoyed the location and proximity to the outdoor activities hiking and biking at Dupont and Pisgah and Brevard. Deck with secluded private space was great. Highly recommended !
This property was perfect for a weekend get away to Brevard and Henderson. Pisgah national forest was beautiful and the house was perfectly set up for mountain biking.
We drove down from Michigan to North Carolina through the December Article Blizzard that yielded temperatures below zero, snow squalls, snow blindness and treacherous driving conditions. A trip that should have taken at the most 10 hours, actually took 14. So when we finally arrived at our destination, it was nice to walk into a warm and inviting home. It felt like we belonged there. Everything was designed and organized to create an atmosphere of comfort. There were 3 of us and we never felt crowded. It was spacious and a great place to come home to after a drive through the Carolina mountains. Thank you to the owners - who called to check on us during our stay - for creating a welcoming space that embraced us from the moment we walked through the door. It was our home for 9 days and we will return. Thank you.
House was well appointed, updated, comfortable beds. You will need a SUV or truck to get up the last part of the driveway. Close to several waterfalls and dinner options in Brevard. Loved it!
My whole family loved this place. We stayed for a week. And we were sad to leave. We already want to come back. Everything is there and the location is fantastic if you want to hike. Only one thing. This beautiful and convenient house is located on a top of a hill. You will really need a SUV to use the road to access the driveway. Not for the climbing. There are a lot of potholes to access the property by this road. Nothing to do with the house or the guests. Just the whole community will need to fix it.
Property was great in a great location. Only issue was dryer was not working and we had not brought a lot of clothes cause we were planning on washing while there. Wish someone would have came out to fix. Other than that is was a great place to stay in a good location. Very quiet!!!
This cottage is as cute as the pictures. Everything has been recently remodeled and VERY clean! Great location to DuPont state Rec forest and close to restaurants/breweries in Brevard. Perfect for the 3 of us to go hiking, and come “home” to relax for the evening! Easy access in and out of the small neighborhood.
