Secluded North Shore cottage near Lake Superior, hiking, and snowmobile trails

Everything was good. If a fan will work in the bathroom it would be even better.

It was perfect space for my husband and i to get away for a week. It was quiet, lots of surrounding nature, but close enough to town when we needed anything.

Excellent stay at this lovely and secluded cabin! Barbara was an excellent host. Super cozy, comfortable and clean. Would absolutely stay here again.

This property is well represented on VRBO. We found everything to be in good working order and very clean. The location made for a very quiet setting. One of the main reasons for our trip was to get a little snowmobiling in. We loved having plenty of driveway to work with (unloading and loading sleds, turning around, etc). The heated garage with a picnic table, a heated floor, and even a couch, was a perfect staging area for our gear. One of the trails is a simple a 1/2 mile ditch ride away and it connects right up with the CJ Ramsted trail. The kitchen was well appointed to cook meals and the living room was a comfortable place to relax with a cozy gas fireplace. I'd highly recommend this property.

Really nice and comfortable setting and place. Perfect size for the two of us. It was our home base while heading out daily on hikes. Very clean, plenty of hot water, TV/heat/air all worked great! Played Darts on nice electronic board in garage. Nice fire pit unfortunately it rained and we had no time to use.

we loved staying here! the fire pit was great and barbara and derk left plenty of firewood. we also made great use of the grill! perfect for a small group with quick access to downtown two harbors and nearby state parks.

Great location for exploring the surrounding area. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. A few more kitchen amenities would have been helpful, but overall we really enjoyed our time here. Would recommend!

We had a great 2 nights stay.Campfire time after a relaxing hike and seeing some sites in Two Harbors.We would definitely do another trip to the area and stay in the same place.The cottage is perfect!

It’s our honeymoon, and this little cabin couldn’t have been more perfect! Cozy little place to stay as we ventured out on day trips to nearby parks. Clean and comfortable. Beautifully maintained. Secluded and private. Fireplace was cozy, kitchen well equipped, and everything was fantastic for our stay. The only downside to the cabin was the light on the pole outside, which I completely understand is likely there for safety, but it limited our stargazing. A minor thing for an otherwise perfect place.

This is a lovely home conveniently located by Two Harbors. Nice outdoor spaces for relaxing and the home is clean and cozy.

Very nice private cabin. It was close enough to Gooseberry Falls and Two Harbors to be convenient but far enough away to be private. The deck was great to sit and watch the birds and wildlife. The interior was very clean and cozy.
